Dextrose for Insulin ?

I need to figure out how to measure out dextrose. I want to take 10 grams per 1iu of insulin, but how do I measure grams? I have coming a 5lb bag of dextrose, and measure out my food portions with a counter scale in ounces if that helps.

1 slightly rounded teaspoon=5grams 1 slightly rounded tablespoon=15 grams. Or u can also use one of the 5 gram scoops that come with creatine or glutamine bottles if u take those.

You can use your ounce scale only as long as it's accurate and you can do the conversions. A counter scale may not be accurate enough for your intended use. 1 ounce = 28.3 grams.

Just put in dextrose in a google search and it will come up....its like 2 dollars a pound online....actually try americanspice.com i am pretty sure i got it there
