DFHT Pull throughs

Two questions:
1. What are pull throughs? Sometimes it's hard to describe an excercise in words, is there a link?
2. Can I substitute Straight Legged Deadlifts for Good Mornings on Lower body workout one?

Thanks friends.
A little note if you care:
I recently finished a 5x5 and went to 3x3. My Max working squat when I started (I used THE 5x5 for recovery after shredding both vastus lateralus and having surgery) went from the bar for 5 reps max to 215 for five reps max butt to ankles. I added 7lbs to my frame and shredded bf%. Before you coulnd't see my abs, now they are clearly visible. So, lean mass gain was probably more than 7 lbs. 5x5 is an excellent program. Now, I'm more confident in my vastus healing correctly, so I'd like to pick up the pace a bit and use DFHT.

I found a site with Dave Tate on it showing how to do them. Damn, those things hit the hams HARD. I went ahead with the Good Mornings, and I've got to say, those things also slaughter the hammies. AM, your DFHT is excellent for building the hammies and shoulders. Those are the places I'm most sore after switching from 5x5. (Yes, I know soreness doesn't mean you're building muscle) I figure I'll do the deload DFHT, then do 5x5 again. I might even consider a cycle when starting the 5x5 again... hmmm...
