Did not go through puberty...

I am 31, and I don't think that I have gone through puberty. About 4 years ago I went to the doctors about having low energy most of my life. After a lot of blood tests my doctor finally refered me to have an MRI.

The MRI found a 1cm tumor in my pituitary gland. Its not causing any vision problems just hormone problems.

My blood tests originaly were a little above the low range number. After 4 years of TRT I am now in the upper area of the range(Only doing 125mg or so Enathate a week)

TRT has given me more body hair growth, but I still feel that I have not gone through puberty. I have a boyish face, a semi-femimine voice, 4inch penis, and small testicle(Sad to say my doctor said I have testicular atrophy even though the size hasn't really changed)

Being 31 years old is there anything that can be done at this point to force my body to go through puberty at all?

I'm tired of being like this. I focus on it constantly and can't get past it mentally that I am not phsyically developed for my age.

Post your blood tests, name, value, units, range, performing lab

You need
HCG 500iu EOD
to keep testis in shape

Not sure about pines, if it works, I suggest leave it alone.

My orignal blood test,

- - LH: 0.2 (0.8-7.6)*
- - FSH: 0.11 (0.7-11.1)*
- - Prolactin: 117 (53-360)
- - SHGB (sex hormone binding globulin): 24.8 (7.2-100)
- - Testosterone: 10.2 (9.08-55.2)
- - Oestradiol (E2): 73 (0-206)

Only recent test I have had shows my Testosterone at 29.4ng. I am going in next week to request a more comprehensive test panel.

Sorry, make it penis.

I am assuming that 125mg or so Enathate a week
resulted in
TT=29.4nmol/L~850ng/dL
assume also that your SHBG did not changed
SHBG=24.8

Free & Bioavailable Testosterone calculator
your FreeT~229
it is either good already or you can raise it to no more than about 300
300/229*125=163
Change schedule to twice weekly and use say 150-160mg/week
I use EOD schedule, T and HCG on alternate days.
Stay there, do not make any more changes for at least 3-6 months.

Your big problem now becomes to be stabilized and get proper E2 levels.
You need ultrasensitive test for E2.
Use Liquidex to do the fine tunning.
Use very day dosing.
At the moment it sems as you do not have E2 problems, but go get good E2 testing.
When using Liquidex I found that my needs oscilate
1-1.5 Arimidex pills/week (equivalent).
Your mileage may vary.

If you are in USA make an effort to use Quest diagnostics for testing.
Blood draw 48 hours after T shot, make it a standard,
so in a future results could be compared.

Welcome to my life. At least I now have some hair to the navel. Weird how secondary cryptorchidism (caused by pituitary FSH) still leaves one the size of a 10 year old

JanSz,

You are saying 500iu EOD??? Dr. John says 500iu weekly, that's an incredible difference.

?????

If you keep running test and hcg everything's going to be fine with your balls. The only thing that i can suggest you regarding your penis is to try jelqing. Many people worldwide have reported amazing progress within as little as two months. Size increases of 1-2 inches are not unheard of.

Wish you the best of luck brother!

I never fully completed puberty either. I got on TRT at the age of 26 and saw a slight increase in virilization. Then a couple of years ago, I added HCG and noticed more virilization.

A study I once posted on this site showed that HCG monotherapy produces more virilization than testosterone alone.

It's an old study, but very interesting. You can find it if you search in the archives.

I tried to go on HCG monotherapy for a few weeks, and even though I never got my test levels tested, I was feeling like shit, so I went back on testosterone.

It's really about finding that balance between HCG and Testosterone.

You should also get your IGF-1 levels tested because that might also play a role.

Secondary still have to watch E2 levels.
Were you monitoring E2?
E2 plays big role of how one feels, probably more than T,
and it is real easy to fall off from good E2 range..
