Difference between cardio times?

Just curious, i know that cardio is best in the morning, but do to my work/school schedules, it is very difficult to do in the mornings. Is it very ineffective to lift mid day, and do your cardio at night? Or is cardio in the morning the only good way to go about it?

Your thinking to much, theres not that much of a difference. It has more to do with hard work and eating right each and every day.

I also here that all the time about morning cardio, and evidence shows that the benefit is so slight its almost non existent.

The key to making cardio more effective is limiting the amount of circulating blood sugar levels. If you can only get greens in for at least 4 hours prior to your cardio, then you begin digging into fat for fuel at a much faster rate.

I've been doing cardio in the morning 5 am. Daily 6 days a week for the last 3 months.I do 45 minute sessions at medium intensity.Heart rate is under 120.It works better for me before work and I have an empty stomach. If I feel like another session I'll do one later in the afternoon.I guess do what is best for you but make sure it gets done.:)

You keep your heart rate under 120? thats pretty low intensitiy? i was keeping mine under 130, but i just bumped it up and keeping it just under 140 now.

Heart rate is subject to the individual.I do a ton of cardio and have a low resting pulse. At 120 I am completely covered in sweat by the end of the session. On the weekends I run HIIt cardio heart rate exceeds 170 on some of the workouts.I'll hold this rate for time30minutes sometimes up to 2 hours.I have to eat 4,000 calories a day with a minimum of 300 grams of protein to stay anabolic.Otherwise I would shrivel up at this intensity levels.:D

Sounds good man, i have found between 125-130 i get a little sweat, 130-140 is probably my optimal level, i work up a decent sweat on the bike there, haven't done much interval training yet, I just stick with the 45 minutes of regular cardio that i enjoy doing, i try and do some sprints on the weekends though when its nice out and i have the time..

The verdict i go by still says intervals are the best way to go. They have shown to burn more fat after the w/o.

I do 15-20min post work out, and 1hr on the weekends, I keep my heart at 130-150... good results, dnp helps. :P
