Dizzy with a chemical taste

Today I was doing a fairly heavy workout as it was leg day and after I got done lifting I was 40 min into a 45 min cardio workout and I got a little dizzy with a chemical taste in my mouth.

This has never happened and I thought I was having a stoke or something so I stopped. Has this happened to anyone before?

I should point out I am currently 1 week into a 250 EOD Sust and .25 Ip Dbol ED cycle.

My girl said its happend to her a few time when she was really overheated and I certainly qualified today.

It sounds like ketosis. What is your carb intake like?

Very low. I am on the south beach diet(closer to Atkins with less fat) but have had rock bottom carb intake for 5 weeks now. It hit me fast and I stopped. It was like an amonia taste.

Man these extreme low carb diets should be outlawed.
What ever you do DON'T take your carbs below 60 per day ( only exception last 2 days before a show ) Your brain needs 60g a day just to fuction plus all the other energy your using working out.
Plus I can't even walk out off the gym on leg days let alone do cardio.
Up your carb some you'll still lose the weight....11

I would say you are definately in ketosis. When using a low-carb/no-carb diet, keep in mind that the "goal" isn't to avoid carbs, but to lose fat. Once your calories are sufficiently below your needs, eating a few carbs makes no difference in the amount of fat you will lose. On top of that, if adding 20 grams of carbs post workout enables you to train longer the next time, its better to add a few carbs so that in the long run, you can burn fat faster and stop dieting sooner!
