DNP 12 day cycle log

I have capped DNP for a 12 day cycle, each cap is 200MG and dosing is as follows:

day 1 - 2: 200mg
Day 3 - 7: 400mg (split between AM and PM dosage)
day 8 - 9: Will Ramp up to 600mg, supplementation with 75mg T3 to aid with lethargy
days 10 - 12: 200mg to taper down

Supps:

* MyProtein Alpha men, 8 caps per day providing many of the antioxidants and vitamins I require in abundance.

* Inositol, 1 gram twice daily

* 5 HTP to aid in sleep, 3 at night if required.

* Ephedrine, I hate the wired feeling from this so will only use if I notice real lethargy

* Yohimbine, apparently great for combating lower belly fat, not using this until I experiment with its effects on me again

Gycerol - gonna buy this and start supplementing from tomorrow

My stats:

Height: 6'2"
Weight: 211.4 pounds
BF estimate: 17 - 20%
Age: 23

Log so far:

Day 1: Took 200mg DNP cap, and then 30mg ephedrine and an experimental dose, around 20mg to test tolerance.

Effect: Noticed vasodilation, eyes a little red and felt a little ill. Went to the shops, got home then went to the library to study and literally *bam* something hit me like a brick wall, I felt so dizzy and the weirdest I've ever felt, could barely open the door. Sprinted back home and proceeded to profusely sweat and feel like I was walking on the moon for around 10 minutes. The feeling then vanished as quick as it came and I was left feeling tired and a little weird still, perhaps a bit sick. Felt hungry as hell.

I assessed that it was either the ephedrine and caffeine or yohimbine or combination of the both that was causing this as 200mg is a low dose. In the evening I had a family size pizza and lots of ice cream on top of a fair amount of alcohol, daily calories worked out at around 5000. I won't be so indulgent or stupid again, the alcohol on DNP is a first and last.

Day 2, woke up feeling sweaty but may be due to overload of carbs and booze. Took another 200mg DNP and hit the gym fasted using all the carbs from previous night as my workout fuel, good workout lifting heavy for around 8 reps and felt more sweaty than I normally feel at the gym. Hit the treadmill for 25 minutes and left rather soaked in sweat. Calories today: higher estimate would be 1900, 1900 is around the number of calories I'd like to keep to. All calories will be clean from now on coming from protein sources such as cottage cheese, turkey breast, chicken breast and sardines. Carbs come from oatmeal, whole wheat bread and brown rice and a few grapes here and there.

Not feeling much here, maybe a little more red in the face due to vasodilation. Really have junk food cravings for some reason, lay in bed thinking about strawberry cheesecakes and chocolate gateux's. Had a few complex carbs (brown rice) before bed, not something I like to do but I didn't have much in the fridge and a couple of sardines for protein.

Day 3: Woke up, not feeling any different to normal at all, maybe more mentally tired but could be attributed to late nights and drowsiness from 3 HTP tabs. Took another 200mg DNP at 1:30PM Went for a fasted bit of cardio, nothing strenuous just an hour or so of walking on slightly hilly terrain and now just taken another 200mg at 19:15, wouldn't say I feel warmer really, no fan required yet however piss is always a luminous yellow, also probably attributed to excreting excess vitamins. Calories so far been around the 1800 mark today, if I can keep cravings under control my bedtime cottage cheese should provide me with an additional 300 calories or so bringing me to around the 2100 mark.

This is a decent deficit atm, according to my activity level (averages around 5 times excercise a week and factoring in my weight and age, I require roughly 3100 calories per day.

Gonna change tomorrows routine to a higher rep one, around 12 reps. Will weigh in tomorrow to see if I've lost any weight from my starting 211.4 pounds in the 2 days I've been taking this as seriously as I should.

On a side note, I did notice when I tried to jog my ankles ached, this is normally indicative of water retention for myself or low potassium. As my supplements contain sufficient potassium for my daily needs I'm sure it's water retention.

Hopefully the effects peak at making me warmer than normal but not a constant sweat as I need to be revising for summer university exams, sitting in the library sweating could be irritating.

Day 4 log:

Weighed myself, am 219.35 pounds as of today, was a little heavier than I thought before but so far have lost a pound as of this morning. I attribute this to having a full bladder and having eaten a light meal beforehand. My bodyfat according to the scales stands at 17.2%, this means I have 7.1KG to lose or 15.6 pounds to get to the 10% mark.


Felt normal all day no excess heat until now. Took a 200mg cap at 12:30 am and another one at 6:30PM. Am feeling warmer now, noticeable radiation of heat from face however no sweating as of yet.

Felt a little fatigued today, walking about but perhaps that's from my leg workout a couple of days ago, did higher reps at the gym (around 12), chest, biceps, triceps and back and 10 mins cardio. Calories for today been around the 1800 mark however will have another 400 or so before hitting the sack.

Gonna purchase a fan tomorrow, was gonna buy one today however I wasn't feeling the heat so didn't want to waste money and I feel tomorrow is when the DNP is gonna start kicking in.

Supps: inositol and multivitamin + antioxidants

Macros: Around 10% fat, 50% protein, 40% carbs
 
Okay, so not sure if anyone is entirely interested in my log, but will carry on updating just as a reference.

So last night I found it a little too warm to be under the duvet, not massively but a bit uncomfortable. No fan requirement yet.

Day 5: Woke up, definite water retention round mid section as when I wake up stomach is normally much flatter than when I go to bed due to overnight fasting, this wasn't the case. No ab definition when I tense where I usually have some.

Weighed myself at the gym in the evening, this was after drinking a fair amount of water during the day and haven eaten 2 meals and am now 215.4 lbs that is a weight loss from yesterday of 3.6lbs.

This weight difference between yesterday is surprising, especially as it was in the evening and over the course of the day I had consumed lots of water, 2 meals etc however I can feel my muscles are flatter due to glycogen depletion so perhaps the weight loss is attributed at least partially if not significantly to that. Gonna try weight myself in the morning when I wake up tomorrow and see what the scales say.

Popped one DNP around 12:30, felt a little warm in the computer room however someone else moaned it was too warm there so clearly not the DNP, still no real sweatiness. Felt quite lethargic today, legs ached and by around 6 I couldn't really concentrate. Popped another DNP pill at 6ish and still nothing. Felt like I had no energy for the gym, but once I got there I did a leg workout not too different to my normal one and 20 minutes cardio work. Quite a sweat was pouring off me after. Before working out I weighed myself and my weight currently stands at 218.4

Tomorrow unless I break out in a sweat will be my last day of 400mg and I will go up to 600mg. I know this is good stuff as the guy I bought it from is a friend and was sweating balls on this stuff, however I feel we both have very high tolerances to this substance. Some larger guys need more than 400mg to even break a sweat I've heard.

P.S. calories for today will top out at around the 2500 mark

Right, so last night I felt quite lethargic, decided it's time to hit the T3, took 50mcg and felt much better today.

DNP dosage today: 600mg

Day six today, got up and couldn't be bothered to go to the gym to weigh myself, so not sure of current weight, probably will weigh myself on Saturday as daily weigh ins are pointless due to fluctuations in water etc. Popped 2 * 200 mg caps today at 1300, also took around 3mg of yohimbine. Yohimbine had an on and off effect on me all day, initially my eyes got quite red so I used eyedrops to alleviate this then I had moments where I felt really strange and light headed, I've heard however that it's great for fatloss in stubborn areas combined with DNP as there are a greater number of A2 receptors in these sites which yohimbine activates, studies also mention yohimbine works better on women because of the way their bodyfat is deposited. I seem to have odd body contouring where weight first goes on my butt and face then belly, strange for a man yarr? So I figure this will help to get rid off my horrible bubble butt which is quite wobbly when not tensed.

Felt pretty warm all day, face is quite flushed all the time which makes me look like shit, whites of eyes are also quite yellow which makes me look jaundiced which is annoying too.

Had another DNP cap (200mg) around 7:45. Sweated a lot in the gym, quite out of breath and winded and a little light headed after deadlifts. My stamina in the gym wasn't great today, less reps than normal and more effort required, couldn't be bothered with the usual cardio after weight lifting, came home and it's taken ages to stop sweating lightly, was slightly sweating for around 2 hours 30 mins.

I'm really greatfull to 5-HTP as I've found it really relaxes me and helps me get to sleep. When I don't take it I can't really sleep on this stuff, not because of heat just because it genuinely is a lot harder to sleep than normal.

No fan bought yet, pretty sure I will be quite warm in my bed tonight. Split t3 dose at 25mcg in morning and 25mcg at night to offset DNP's effects.

Water retention is very manifest, hugely so. I look fatter than I usually do but am on around 2000kcal per day average and working out in the gym whilst on t3 and yohimbine, so clearly I'm holding a lot of water.

Very much looking forward to coming off, skin a lot dryer than normal and I just don't feel my usual lively bouncy self.

gonna have 3 more days at 600mg, then taper down the following day to 200mg and then by monday I will have finished this cycle.

I'll then eat at maintenance for 3 days to make use of the anabolic rebound of DNP and then start a week on an altered version of the velocity diet where I eat a 400kcal meal of oatmeal in the morning then have 5 200kcal casein protein shakes per day. giving me a total of 1400kcal and 40g of carbs on off training days and 1800 kcal with around 80g carbs on training days.

After that week I will follow it up with another week of eating around 500 - 1000kcal below maintenance and taking orlistat, a drug which stops the absorbtion of 1/3 of fat in your digestive tract.

At a guess, in little over 3 weeks provided I nail my diet I expect the following;

Assuming a starting weight of 220 pounds, realistically as I appear to be really resistant to DNP and havn't sweated as described, I expect to have lost around 5 - 6 pounds of fat on this 10 day cycle. bringing me down to around 214 pounds, I expect to lose around 3 pounds of fat during the velocity diet week bringing me down to 211 pounds and then a further 2 pounds in the orlistat week bringing me into the 209lb region, 11lbs of fat in just over 3 weeks would be great!

Anyway, sorry to have waffled on a tangent, will give a further update tomorrow!
 
Right, so update for day 7. Gonna do tomorrow at 600mg, then following day at 800mg and call this quits as I have uni revision for up and coming exams.

It seems 600mg is my sweet spot, I start lightly perspiring at this dose and have been all day. I went to a mates house and his room wasn't particuarly warm however the air was still and I broke out in intermittent sweats. Have occasional 'odd' moments where I feel a bit strange, but these are more annoying than anything because it stops me being able to communicate with people for a few moments.

Had a larger than normal breakfast today, around 700kcal. Then for lunch went to the shop and had a sudden sugar rush. Among the sweets, icecreams, juices, strawberries, bananas and yoghurts I consumed, this amounted to around 1330kcal. So calorie consumption today is around 2030kcal before dinner. Not ideal, but with the 50mg T3 and 600mg DNP which is starting to work, I think my body can take the excess kcal i'd have had by the end of today.

Not bothering with gym today, gonna take it as a day off to recuperate as I've been excercising 4 days in a row.

I am starting to get quite warm, whenever I sit in a room without a window I perspire. I am sick of looking like I've just got off the treadmill and out of a tumble dryer to be honest, want my complexion to clear up now.

I split the DNP dosage as 400mg around 1pm and 200mg at around 7pm. The 7PM dose I had overeaten, and when I burped I regurgitated the DNP capsule and powder flowed over my tongue and teeth, haha. Staining of the tongue present but I washed it all back down with water, mild annoyance.

Energy levels out of 10: around 7, feeling pretty good but attribute it to the T3, yohimbine, large doses of fruit and fruit juice and antioxidants.

Not sure 100%, but in the mirror, I noticed that I was looking a lot more veiny than normal. Starting to see quite a few clue veins in my arm. Still, I am holding what feels like a lot of water, trying to guzzle down liquids and constantly peeing.

I accidently smashed my bottle of glycerol today which is annoying, only 2 days left of cycle though so not the end of the world.

As mentioned, will weigh myself at the gym on saturday morning. Results TBA, I'll then weight myself a couple of days later in 2 increments to check level of water loss.

Really hoping to have lost at least 5 pounds on this cycle which is now a 9 day one instead of the original 12 day planned one due to my tolerance of this compound!

Ordered some casein protein for my week on the altered velocity diet too.

Cheers man. So glad tomorrow is my last day, not too keen on putting this shit in my body but hopefully the results will be worth it.

Generally the last few % of BF is really hard to lose, requires some real perseverance. DNP will work for you, but you really got to be sensible and slowly increase the dose, invest in great supplements and have anti-allergy meds to hand. Reason you don't go above 15% is because you have existing fat cells which get filled, it's harder for the body to make new ones but existing fat cells can be easily filled up again. No mattter what I eat, my body doesn't tend to go above a certain weight but it's quite easy to get to that weight.


Anyway, last night when I lay in bed I couldn't have the cover on and was sweating from my legs quite a lot, the bed sheets were wet. haven't used a fan on this stuff as I haven't really needed one.

Today I cleaned the house and sweated a lot! It took ages to stop sweating too. I'm not really that much warmer than normal now but damn I am mentally and physically FATIGUED. Can't wait to come off, feel better and hopefully look better.

Tomorrow I take my dose up to 800mg for the day then that'll be the last dose + 50mcg of T3 and on Sunday I shall weigh myself and see what sorta weight I am. Hope to drop the water weight in around 4 days.

Shall update you on how tomorrow goes for me, I intend on getting up, taking 400mg DNP, going to the gym then coming back and having the last 400mg and sweat out the rest of the day, expecting a bit of a sleepness night.

On a side note, my breathing is a lot heavier, not got much of an appetite and also had a bit of a sore throat when I woke up today which has lasted most of the day, I attribute this to my mouth becoming quite dry due to lack of fluids when sleeping.

Physically I probably could manage, but mentally I cannot be bothered to go to the gym today.

Last day was yesterday, took 800mg DNP split in 2 doses, gym closed due to easter so I ran round a track about 6 times, did 150 pressups and some other random excercises for about 30 minutes. Felt pretty good afterwards.

Felt fairly warm most of the day. In the evening I went to a friends house for roast dinner, so including breakfast, lunch and dinner I had about 1700kcal.

Unfortunately they spiked my orange juice with vodka when they found out I wasn't drinking, something I didn't realise until I was getting tipsy. Felt really drunk and a little ill but guzzled down water.

So the vodka + orange juice was probably around another 700kcal. Plus I had another 300kcal as a post bed meal.

Bringing my calories for the day up to around 2700 - 3000 kcal for the day, not too bad. I didn't feel warm during the night at all, perhaps due to the alcohol? Not very happy that alcohol was added to my drink, but I doubt it will have a negative effect on the cycle overall.

Gonna wait till tuesday to weigh myself as that's when the gym opens again. Hope to get my casein protein thru on Wednesday so I can start the modified v-diet!
 
So it's been 3 days since I stopped DNP, not sure if any more water weight will come off or there is any more glycogen to be refilled in my muscles, they feel flatter but the gym has been closed for 4 days due to easter, bah.

anyway, my weight today after a light breakfast was 210 pounds, my starting weight was about 219 pounds so it would appear on this cycle I lost 9lbs from eating roughly just under maintenance.

Before and after photos don't seem to dramatic, a lot of my weight was lost from around the buttocks area and I am sure I am still holding a fair amount of water, but you can definately see the after photos are leaner.

Gonna start low calorie low carb diet soon once my protein arrives and shall update with results.
