Short: If I go to a doctor for "a sore throat and fever"(regular doc - for things like flu, strep throat, etc.) and the doctor draws blood 24 hours after my last dose of DNP(250mg crystal) do I have anything to worry about? What are the chances of him drawing in the first place given that this would be my first visit to the doc?
Long: At the end of my latest cycle I started to run a fever. Of course, the first thing I did was to discontinue DNP use to try to get a lock on whether this is DNP-related or illness. 24 hours after my previous dose, my temperature remains steady at 100.4-100.7. Additionally, applying pressure to the glands around my throat results in some soreness which seemingly points to a throat infection of some sort. My instinct, then, is to head to a doc and see what's up. I've never been to this doctor(I don't get sick terribly often, not since I moved to my new location 3+ years ago) so I'm afraid that he will draw blood and find traces of DNP followed by "bad things"(no idea what these would be). The alternative is to suck it up for three days(basically until Sunday morning) and try to hit Urgent Care. If that's not going to produce a noticeable difference, though, I'd just as soon head out today to ensure I am back at work by Monday.
