DNP and lean muscle

One of the most common sources for DNP ("D") mentions in his sale confirmation email to customers that:

"Since DNP works primarily within the muscle, it will work differently depending on how much actual muscle mass you have. Obviously, users with more lean muscle will see more effect from DNP."

I have not heard any other source mention this, nor have I seen Conciliator post anything to that effect. Has anyone else encountered this claim? Is it accurate?

I thought it worked by creating a metabolic inefficiency and had nothing to do with muscle?
You're right. DNP uncouples oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria. In other words, it's in the mitochondria where it makes energy production less efficient and it burns calories. Muscle has relatively high levels of mitochondria, but you have mitochondria in cells throughout your body. I don't think that the large variations in sensitivity that you see in DNP users has anything to do with LBM.

Perhaps having more lean muscle will cause a large energy deficit by means of ATP depletion, requiring your mitochondria to convert more energy from food molecules, and thus create more ATP to replace what was lost. This will make your body use more energy and may have a larger extent of effectiveness on those people with more lean muscle mass.

yup. I also think the same way...in my logic, 220lb obese & 220lb lean persons doesn't burn fat at the same rate while on DNP...more LBM more deficit...am i right?

This makes sense, or is an excuse for stuff thats not as powerful as Powder. I know D's 750 (About 580 powder) is nothing like 600 powder of a good powder source. Even after a longer climb cycle than normal, D's just doesnt hit you as hard, or give you the same results. How ever you take it, it does make sense.
