DNP - Neuropathy problems

I've been on DNP for about 5 weeks and my doses started at 250mg and currently at 750mg. In the last week or so my feet were swollen, I didn't really make anything of it and brushed it off as water retention. However, in a the last few days I started getting neuropathic pain in my feet (tingling, numbness, shooting pain, etc). It's got to the point where I can't sleep at night and the only thing that helps relieve some pain is massaging my feet. I'm actually considering going to the ER if it gets any worse. There isn't alot of info out there on DNP and neuropathy, but after doing a search on google I saw a people that had the same issues in the past. Have any of you experienced anything like this before? How long before they neuropathy goes away?

i get the same issue except in my hip. dont know why but sleeping sucks as well. i just kind of wish it away. if u go to the ER just remember you will have to tell them about the dnp probably and i have yet to encounter another soul who is not a body builder who knows what dnp is. people are oblivious. good luck brother.

are you still on DNP? Do you still experience neuropathy symptoms after you stopped?

Your dosage is far too high if you are getting the pain. I do not know why you get it when 'on' DNP, but it goes away after you stop. Further more, it seems it is like the DNP rash one would get. You tapper off and stop until it clears up. But if you are prone to getting it I find you would get it again. A lot of bro science in this, but no real information has been published on this sub-topic of DNP per my knowledge.

the hip thing i dont think is neuropathy. many experience this on higher doses.. i remember one discussion mentioning something about hypoxia.

the peripheral neuropathy is no joke and as the above said, i havent seen the explanation as to why this occurs.. taking DNP AGAIN after it resolving is irresponsible and dumb as hell

It could be, but it depends on the source. By 'pure' powder or pure caps, it depends on whom caps it for you and who you order from. You should NEVER take any pill unless you know what it is for sure. No OTC pills or injections are a good idea without knowing the composition of the substance.

I did some cycles late 2009. Worked very well. Near end my feet got very sore. I would use ice and it helped. Wife thought I was crazy(didnt know about the DNP).
Been off since 12/2009. Fast forward, today, 2 days into a 200mg/day cycle and my feet are warm already. keep you posted...

So I actually did end up going to the ER because pain turned something i've never experienced. Felt like I was going to pass out with non-stop shooting and burning pain in my feet. I ended up in the hospital for a week with neuropathy. I couldn't take 5 steps without feeling pain in my feet, basically leaving me handicapped for a week. They put me on Percocet (oxycodone with paracetamol/acetaminophen) tablets and Neurontin (gabapentin) for the pain. After the Percocet would wear off the pain would start again. It's gotten better since, but I learned my lesson -- no more DNP.

The caps might be contiminated, but the source I got them is from reliabe, However, he does add extra ingredients in the caps for "general health, lethargy problems, etc" which may contain toxins. I still think the DNP itself was responsible for the neuropathy. Long-term DNP usage at moderate-high doses can cause neuroipathy.

Been a while since I jump on the boards, actually took up freediving and I'm a measly 180lbs. Crazy to see so many folks ok w DNP as opposed to a few yrs ago.. I doubt it was DNP, I don't know anymore than you and anyone else for that matter. I've got some 2 yr old DNP I'm going to run for 21 days..

Dumb question here but you would happen to be diabetic would you?

Wow, how long and what dose were u on when this started happening??

4 weeks, starting at week 5 at 750mg/wk.

Nope. I even considered this because i'd feel hypoglycemic if I went long hours without eating carbs. Supposdely that's one of the side effects of DNP. Anyways, my calories were never too low. Always around 2500 calories or so.

This happened half way through a cycle, so after running a bunch of blood tests through out the week the docs think it was an "exogenous" testosterone supplement that caused the neuropathy My test levels were through the roof. I didn't tell them about the DNP, but I did mention I think the fast-loss drug supplement I was taking contained toxins that caused the neuropathy. They completely ignored it and still think its the aas.
