This is my first DNP cycle and i'm currently using H's gen II caps. I followed the sticky and started with 200mg a day for the first 4 days. I'm currently on day 6 and am at 400mg a day. I'm going to keep it at this dose and stop after 10 days. I didn't "carb deplete" but do eat a clean diet and have kept carbs low. Now for my question.... I haven't really noticed any loss in weight, i've actually gained a few pounds since starting my cycle. Is this normal? Is it probably water weight? I know that you will look your best about 4-7 days after you stop taking DNP. Just wondering what other people have experianced. When I was taking 200mg I was a little warm, but felt pretty good. When I went to 400mg it hit me hard! The heat isn't so bad (i am sweating a lot, but not to uncomfortable), but my energy has been zapped. I can't imagine using 600mg right now!

I am no expert, but yeh its water weight bro . I came off around 8 days ago and i am just now fully carbed back up, have all my strength back. I had a net weight loss of around 11.5 lbs. Day 6 is when i really started being uncomfortable, although my dosages were higher than yours. I noticed fat loss every single morning though, even with my weight fluctuating as it was.
 
For the last time, don't cut carbs while on DNP! DNP needs carbs to work best, so by cutting carbs, especially if you're replacing them with fat, you're not going to get as good of results, and you may make yourself go hypo because you don't have enough blood sugar. Taking DNP is like basically carb depleting already because it will scavenge all forms of glucose for energy. You need to eat a high amount of protein, little or no fat, and moderate carbs from simple sources such as fruit, soda, etc. Avoid complex carbs as they will make you sweat even more.
If you're not seeing any weight loss I would advise cutting back your calories further and also making sure you're drinking a lot of water. DNP will make you retain water anyway, but if you don't drink enough you also send the signal to the body that it needs to store even more.

I have been eating a lot of fruit. I have stayed away from soda because I used to drink it A LOT and afraid I'll get back into the habit. I guess i could indulge a little. I pretty much just eat complex carbs. I'll try and eat more simple sugars. I eat a lot of protien (around 300-350 grams a day). I drink at least a gallon of water a day. I'll bump water intake up also. I did a lot of research before I decided to use DNP. Rookie mistake on the carbs. Thanks for the info.
 
i just did a cycle at 600mg, and it was fun!

but yeah, eating complex carbs will keep you hotter for a longer period of time. for example, i ate some oatmeal and i burned for about 2-ish hours. ate some apples, and i burned for around 1-ish hour. i guess it's because the complex carbs take longer to metabolize or something.
 
I decided to go ahead and up the dose to 600mg a day. I'll be doing 600mg for the rest of my cycle (5 days). I can really feel a difference. The heat is not bothering me to much (i did spend 14 months in Iraq) i sweat a lot, but am able to sleep at night. The thing I have really noticed is the shortness of breath. I feel as if I am doing cardio all the time! Taking a little getting used to. When I started my cycle I was at 201lbs. Weighed this morning and was at 196. So far I've been really inpressed. I'll keep you updated.
