Many times I train 2 large muscle groups in same workout. I do this alot when I'm off cycle to spark more testosterone production. Either legs and chest, back and legs, or chest and back (my favorite), but you get the idea...

I'll sometimes do 3 supersets for chest/back;
bench press / bent over rows
chest fly / reverse fly
pushup (or dips) / pull ups
Romanian Deads are good for a back/leg workout;
