A great bro is hooking me up with dvd platinum software.. I need to get a dvd burner that will work w/ it. what type of dvd burner do u guys recommend. and where are good places to look for them at?

try www.greenlyph.com or www.robotnik.com, they are both here in nova scotia but the prices are amazing. robotnik has both canadian and US prices, greenlyph I think only has canadian prices so if you're paying with USD it will be even cheaper. They have an NEC and pioneer dvd burner for way under $200, check them out for yourself.

thanks alot

that seems like an awesome deal. Any suggestions on if it will work with dvd xcopy platinum software?

Hey Thick....here's a cool site for the best prices on burners in the usa........Vegas

http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_attrib.php/page_id=7/ut=44c841a89d3f2345

I downloaded a copy of DVD X copy platinum off of Newsgroups...

a good place for computer hardware is www.newegg.com or www.googlegear.com

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProdu...7-106-925&catalog=5&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1

Also, FYI thick..Almost every dvd is dull layer now...and the dvd burners only burn single layer copies..so it usualy takes TWO dvd-r's to make a "copy" of a commercial DVD. The new version of Xcopy does allow you take a bunch of crap out of the DVD..Like audio formats you won't use..deleted scenes, and extra's sometimes you can cut enough out to get the entire movie on one disc.
