I’ve had mildly elevated liver values for a few years. They aren’t really increasing, but they’ve been consistently elevated. It’s possible the years of pills and liquor from my days of active addiction are to blame. I’ve had long periods of sobriety (5 years, 11 years, and now almost 1 year) and the liver values haven’t really changed whether I was sober or not. I’ve also had three back surgeries and I took large amounts of ibuprofen or acetaminophen in those months leading up to the surgeries.
I’ve been on TRT for years and I’m planning my first cycle of test and mast in a few weeks after my 6 month TRT bloodwork. A few questions:
-has anyone else experienced consistently high liver values?
-is it possible that lifting is causing these elevated levels? I’ve read that muscle damage can raise liver values. Maybe I’m just being hopeful?
-should I be concerned about the mast raising liver values? I’m planning on doing about 600mg test and 400mg mast for 12 weeks.
I’m 41, not overweight, training for 10 years. Here are my AST and ALT values for the past year. Any other levels that would be useful to see?
5/3/19
AST 60
ALT 63
1/3/20
AST 44
ALT 42
These lower values were during a period when my training was very minimal.
6/8/20
AST 60
ALT 57
