I haven't used primo, but I can make an educated guess that they're pretty similar. Primo of course has less androgenicity, so the dosage won't be 1:1. In terms of muscle retention, you can use just about any anabolic imaginable and get similar results. This is probably been talked about but I always like to hear other people opinions
Anabolics to get big, anabolics to retain muscle during a cut. All anabolics act on the androgen receptor; the goal is to pick one that you can tolerate. Ideally the one with the lowest androgen/anabolic ratio. Primo has a great ratio, but also has an overall smaller anabolic effect.Keep wondering why. Keep using the search button. If you are cutting you should know what you are doing first or typically nothing works out all that well.
Androgens to get big
Anabolics to get ripped
This is true. Drugs don't play any significance in losing weight, a calorie deficit does. Of course, using a more potent AAS will allow to build greater amounts of muscle during a cut, allowing you to burn fat marginally faster, but then you are introducing more androgenic side effects during a time where you already feel awful. This is only a drug standpoint. What is eating is worth three time as much!
test, eq, primo, trenIsn't the answer always: Tren?
Wouldn’t drop the estrogen too low lol ?test, eq, primo, tren
problem solved?
It depends what you need/want.. they both have their benefits as people already have said.
How would eq cause water retention? I always thought it was a ‘dry’ compoundBoth EQ and Primo can be great for cutting, but it all comes down to diet and training first. Primo usually gives a drier, leaner look with minimal sides, while EQ adds vascularity and endurance but might cause some water retention, increase RBC levels, and even boost appetite for some people. In the end, it’s about what fits your goals, budget, and how well you handle potential side effects.
100%Wouldn’t drop the estrogen too low lol ?
That would depend on your doses and how you aromatize and respond to EQ and primos AI effects.Wouldn’t drop the estrogen too low lol ?
EQ is generally considered a “dry” compound, but in my experience, I tend to notice some temporary water retention in the first 4-6 weeks. My e2 remains at the lower end of the reference range, so I don’t believe it’s purely estrogen-related. One possible explanation could be the increased blood volume from higher RBC production, which might create a temporary shift in fluid balance. Another factor could be subtle hormonal fluctuations affecting aldosterone or sodium regulation, though that’s harder to pinpoint. Whatever the cause, the effect seems to fade over time, making it more of an early adjustment rather than a persistent issue. How would eq cause water retention? Interesting, I ask because I have some vials of eq stashed away but not sure if I want to use any. I’m sensitive af when it comes to water retention. I remember when I took DHB I was retaining a lot of subq and intramuscular water.EQ is generally considered a “dry” compound, but in my experience, I tend to notice some temporary water retention in the first 4-6 weeks. This is true. I ran it and it did the job perfectly. But I don't want to use masteron again. It just puts me on edge all the time like I could snap and yell at someone any minute. I'm wondering what to replace it with next time. Anavar? EQ? Just bump the test/tren? Primo not an option either as it always makes me feel shittyNeither, test/mast/tren/tirz is god tier for cuts nothing is going to top it for a long time. Mg for mg no stronger anti catabolic agent than tren even at tiny doses.
You won’t really know until you try, but the key is getting the dosage right - EQ can mess with E2 if not balanced properly. I run Test and EQ at 400mg per week, and my E2 stays at the lower end of the range. If you don’t want to take any risks, Primo is a solid choice if your budget allows - smooth, effective, and won’t leave you looking like a bloated mess.Interesting, I ask because I have some vials of eq stashed away but not sure if I want to use any. If I can take an injectable with decent anabolic properties and minimal subq water I’ll take it.

You could, of course, try Tren instead of EQ or Primo, but Tren is a different beast. I tried it once, and that was enough for me to say, never again. One day, you feel like an unstoppable warlord, the next, you’re tearing up because your cat looks too damn cute. And then there’s the infamous “unexpected attraction shift” - some guys start noticing their preferences taking a detour, and before they know it, their algorithm is serving them content they’re pretty sure they never searched for. Some laugh it off, others start questioning life choices… and a few might just start feeling too comfortable in a silk robe. Tren definitely isn’t for the faint of heart, and personally, once was more than enough for me. But hey, everyone’s different!
