Can someone tell me the difference between when doing bloodwork testing for estradiol doing the Roche ecla method or the sensitive test? I’ve done both last time and on the Roche it came back 55 and the sensitive came back at 10 which number would Be better to go by? Because one number would indicate take some ai and the other says don’t take any.

Yesterday’s bloods came back with Roche method at 38

My estradiol on ECLIA was 150, 1 month in on pharmacy exemestane it was 160, you do the math

Not exactly sure what your saying. You saying the eclia is completely inaccurate?

The Rouche ECLIA method is better than nothing but yes, it’s inaccurate. The two tests use entirely different methods for identifying estrogen.

ECLIA method was designed for women and is more accurate for the higher estrogen levels that women have. These will always be higher than the actual values. Also, there’s a number of things that interfere with this, including proteins and Tren.

The “sensitive” test uses Liquid Chromatogram with tandem mass spec to identify estrogen and is much more accurate at identifying the lower levels of estrogen that men have.

If you are focused on a real number use the LC/MS/MS.
