Estradiol vs estradiol-sensitive tests

I've heard that the estradiol test is innacurate compared to the sensitive estradiol test. I'm not talking about when taking 19-Nors. Does anybody know if this is true? Thanks.

I've never heard that, steroidsbro. Wherever you heard this from, did they provide any further info or reference any sources of evidence?

There's a valid reason why labs offer sensitive estradiol testing. But yeah, just ignore it. Who needs an accurate baseline anyway, or accurate assays, for that matter.

For the record, i copied and pasted your exact thread title into google, and guess what? It returned a ton of valuable information from respected sources outlining the differences between estradiol testing for woman, and for men - not two guys who have little to no knowledge on the subject.

The point is, do some real homework to prevent unnecessary and preventable medical issues.

There was this guy who took both tests very close to each other. Standard came back in the 90s while the sensitive came back under 10. Since men have lower levels of E compared to women the sensitive test would be ideal, unless you’re broke it’s like an extra $30.

Interesting you bring this up. I finished an NPP/test e cycle in early January. I’m on TRT 100mg wkly. I was curious about my estrogen levels because of the way I was feeling.
I took both tests because one was already included...I added the E sensitive, I read that is what your supposed to do for males. I’m adding my results to show an exact comparison.
