Anyone used them? These are around 50$ for a 25 count from MedLabSupply. Thats a third of what the Watmans cost. They are sterile and PVDF membrane.

Haven't used them but they're listed in many scientific equipment catalogs.
They'd be long discontinued if they were defective.
I'd say they'll likely wok fine.

Do they sell bottletop or capsule filters for (almost) the price of a Whatman syringe filter?

No the brand is only listed under the syringe filters. Ive got a bunch of ZapCaps, but dont want to use them on 100ml batches. I was gonna grab 5 whatmans then I saw these for 25c - 50$. I think Im gonna go ahead and buy them as you said theyd be discontinued if defective.

They come in 13mm,25mm, and 33mm sizes which I am assuming is the membrane area? The price difference is not a lot so Im thinking the more filter area the better right?

Yes bigger is usually better but
1 make sure they are sterile
2 check membrane material

Tried them twice. They suck. I even notified medlabsupply on how bad they suck. I would filter using caulking gun and they would split down the middle almost immediately. I only use a name i can trust now. Dare i say the name?

Exactly the info I was looking for. Glad I haven't placed my order yet. Whatmans it is..

Same exact experience I had with them. I tried to purposely blow through a Whatman after 120ml and had both hands on this caulking gun trying to blow it up...couldn't. wasn't flowing any faster either which surprised me.
