Fasted cardio?!?!

I keep heart rate around 140-150. I slam a protein shake with frozen fruit on my way to gym. By the time I finish cycling (30 min) that's when I feel the energy to lift at peak. I'm a cyclist though I don't know if that's helpful for you guys.
No complex carbs, high protein. Fresh frozen fruit will give you the natural sugar spike you need to get it in gear.
I never feel efficient if I don't eat before workouts

Cardio does affect fat burning by helping to create an energy deficit.
Yes it burns calories, that in the first place did not need to be eaten. It also wears down muscle for no reason and inhibits recovery.
Cardio is catabolic. Cardio has no place in bodybuilding

If we have our training and diet dialed in cardio has no worth to a bodybuilder pursuing either aesthetics, mass, or strength.

Seems the majority of the bodybuilding community has had it all wrong all these years.

They thought the world was flat for along time too bro lol,
Can u find an argument for cardio if diet and training is in check.
It's like saying you need Hiit, to build muscle or to get shredded!!! Which diet and training is all you need!

Correct but why cant HIIT and cardio be considered training? Also talking about catabolism in an AAS forum always makes me chuckle considering that we have synthetics going through are body that are very actively anticatabolic. Also cardio does more for your body then to just burn calories and it can aid in muscular recovery too when done in certain ways. If you want to be a one trick useless pony stick to your reps and diet but if you want to be at all functional as a human then I'd suggest some form of cardio.

Some people prefer eating slightly more and using cardio to make up the difference. At a certain point, crewing a bigger deficit or dropping cals beyond a certain point is just less optimal.

Low intensity cardio barely makes a dent in recovery too died you're not doing insane amounts of it. Even high intensity cardio can be incorporated into lifting with great success provided you know how to program your training. Just look at the success of westside athletes that do sled pulls and drags routinely.

Dieting and lifting are also catabolic. By your logic those also don't belong in bodybuilding.

It actually does. Once a lean person attempt to get very lean, think around 12% and below, fatty acid mobilization and blood flow become issues that hinder Fat loss. Certain tricks can be used to overcome those issues such as fasted cardio, HIIT, etc.

Docs right guys^
The bigger question I think here is whether the cardio needs to be fasted or not.
For example what's the difference between eating your morning meal before your cardio or after?

1. What works for you may not work for the majority of people.
2. The majority do not have their diet in check let alone training. In a perfect world they do.
3. Depending how old one is, cardio is heart healthy with many other benefits to boot.
