Feel really fucking ill today just some advice needed?

Long story short been feeling a little depressed for a few weeks. Tired, lethargic ect. Had bloods checked which revealed my thyroid was low (Hypothyroid). I've been hypothyroid for over a year but was stable on the 50mcg levothyroxine last year.

Bloods showed LDL was a little high at 3.21...
Prolactin high at 450+
TSH high at over 100
Free T4 low at 6.4

As said with all this over the last few weeks I've felt doomy, depressed and tired. All normal for thyroid levels being out. Been getting throbbing pain in both ankles when walking but assumed that was thyroid related again.

Opened a new vial of cyp last night and pinned 250mg in my right quad as my usual weekly TRT dosage. Felt a little dizzy and tight chested after putting it in but i did inject it quickly so assumed it was all good.

Gone to bed feeling relatively okay, woke up today and felt like i was dying. Huge disorientation, dizziness, confusion. Stools have turned to water overnight as i was all good in that department yesterday morning.

3 hours into the day now and not feeling confused. But feel really fucking strange. Disorientated and dizzy.

What do you guys think the cause is of all this? Thyroid? If so could i just double up my levothyroxine from 50mcg to 100mcg? Soonest appointment i could get with my doctor is in 10 days to review the thyroid blood work.

As meso members appear relatively knowledgeable on thyroid hormones figured here would be a good place to ask.

So you pin 250mg cyp once a week for trt ? That’s a large dose for Trt , and once a week isn’t recommended much anymore ... is that dr prescribed , if so is it because you have other issuers to overcome with such a high dose of trt test ?

Also ranges for your levels would be helpful for the experienced guys to gauge where you’re at

I was doing it at 200mg a week for a while but found i feel best at around 250mg. So thats been my dose for the last month or two tops.

None of it is doctor prescribed. I guess blast and cruising would be a more accurate description rather than TRT.

Test came back at 2500 24 hours after a 250mg pin of cyp.

Wheres your bloodwork ? It probably shows your hematocrit and RBC"s are too high . 2500ng is cycling . TRT you should be under 1000ng/wk . I come in consistantly between 650-800ng off 100mg/wk Test-C . Thats where my doctor wants me and where I feel best .

You guys on TRT need to realize TRT is NOT cycling , this is a "maintance program" only . Its so you can maintain a optimum testosterone level , not a high one . Thats what cycling is for....;)

Blood work is on my work pc. When I'm back in on Monday I'll attach the blood work.

I got all the values wrote down in my blood work diary that i use to record symptoms and numbers from each blood work test.

RBC and hematocrit are all in range.

Hematocrit is 0.480 Normal reference range 0.380-0.500 L/L
RBC 5.69 normal reference range 4.40-5.80 x10u/L

None of which explains my current symptoms

Even estrogen E2 is normal.

TRT dosages and even a real cruise can be 100mg to 200mg a week but your serum test should not exceed top of range which is around 1100ng at labcorp. If you peaked at 1200 or something it's aggressive but ok. Certainly not 2500.

Realize that you still have a huge advantage over a natural in that their test levels ebb and flow throughout the day whereas yours are pegged high via the ester so area under the curve keeps you constantly at mid to top end.

Only people cruising on high levels should be competitors with so much muscle that 200 and pegged top of range numbers can't maintain it. That said, 99% of the time this conversation is had with 25 year old guys, 5'11", 175lbs at 15% body fat etc....so hardly worth discussing that scenario.

I can't help on the thyroid issues. Getting prolactin in range may help a bit but this is more in for a doctor to see if anything is wrong. Getting yourself in normal natural state (HRT test levels in range) would be helpful too.

At 5.69 your RBC"s are at "high normal"
(although within a month or two you could probably redline that value . Thats what happened to me ;
I thought I needed 200mg/wk to maintain my size and within 4 months I was high normal with the RBC"s and feeling like crap. I was also having ED problems at that dose (who knew lower doses can actually be better ?)

A month later I went over my values and my Doc called me on it . He cut me back to 150mg/wk . 4 months later I was high normal again and went to 100-125mg/wk where I have been since , 7 years now .

I still do my twice a year cycling and I still make progress but would never do high TRT doses again...

PS- there are some guys that do need 200-250mg TRT to maintain optimum levels so you have to do bloodwork to see where your at . But most of us dont need that much...

Sounds like low testosterone. I know I know you have bloods proving otherwise. But the confusion/dizzy reminded me when I ran out for 14 days. Really strange was the best way I could describe it.

i think you said it best in one of your other threads...

And this my friends is what happens when a hypochondriac starts self administrated TRT :)

i think you're letting your mind get the best of you. i'm not discounting how you feel. With the thyroid issues, something is probably off kilter, but be it fear or anxiety or what have you, i think it's only adding additional fuel to the fire.

Taking a break, maybe backing down the TRT dosage, maybe even splitting it up for more stable levels would probably do you some good.

I couldnt agree more, i feel amazing on 125mg oer week as apposed to when i blast at 500 per week. Sounds funny to some probably that 500 is a blast but i find thats all i need to make gains and any higher doesnt add up to better results, only more sides. Diet and training is first and foremost in my experience.

Now as for the ops problems, i highly suggest you take this to your doctor, real science over bro science i say. But having said that, the first thing i would do is cut my dose. Your serum levels are very high and personally thats when i feel disconnected and lethargic.
Good luck , i hope you get to the bottom of this and come back and tell us what the cause and cure was. Im sure others might have similar issues.

Didn’t read everything but once I saw you are hypothyroid, and have high tsh, you need your meds adjusted asap.... I would put money on it being your thyroid. Ignore everything else- test, chol, rbc etc. Hypothyroid symptoms can be gnarly & can absolutely make you feel like you’re having an out of body experience, dizzy, forgetful, feelings of “impending doom,” about to die, etc. No exaggeration. Hopefully you have an Endo for that. They’re useless for TRT but you need a comprehensive thyroid check, including Free T3, reverse T3 and thyroid antibodies (screen for Hashimoto’s). Your TSH is high because you’re not producing enough T4 (hence the low free T4 w/ high TSH numbers). 50mcg is almost certainly T4/Levothyroxine. Ask your doc to bump that dose and add a small dose of Liothyronine (T3). You will probably feel better within days.
