Femara vs Arimidex

Which one do you guys prefer? I've always used arimidex, but I had read somewhere that Femara works better.

I'm getting ready to start a Prop, Tren and Winny cycle (100 mg Prop EOD, 100 mg Tren EOD and 50 mg/day Winny) and was trying to decide which one to get.

Just wondering what you guys thought.

I did a lot of research in the past on this subject... to be completley honest i dont think it really matters which one you use. Femara is better.. yes that much is true... but do we really need that slight amount of "betterness" or would we be ok with just arimidex. I think L-dex is cheaper than Femara so id say go with it... its efficent enough as is...if you got extra money to blow and wouldnt mind taking femara then go for it.

Is there any correlation between Femera not effecting IGF-1 levels?
All the AIs increase IGF-1.

Letro is just a bit more potent at it's recommended dose, but that's not really important, since you simply adjust the dose to get the desired effect, no mater which AI you use anyway.

Letro is also supposedly more effective at getting to the estrogen deep within your bodyfat stores.

However, I certainly follow the notion that total estrogen elimination is not a good thing.

Hey, i know you know you stuff, but i've read, either on AR or muscle chem that arimidex actually lowers IGF, while the others all increase it to some degree, they had studies etc showing this to be true as well.

This confused me since i thought perhaps it was the general lack of estro present leading to increase in igf, but since arimidex supposedly lowered igf, that disproved that theory, suggesting ari decreased igf by some unrelated mechanism perhaps? Maybe im wrong, but from what i've seen, ari lowers igf...

EDIT* Found the thread, but can't post the link. Go to musclechemistry.com and search for thread by strider called "aromatase inhibitor facts must read!!!"

Yeah, there are actually two studies that show adex lowers IGF-1, but the majority show an increase. You know it increases IGF-1 though, because letro and exemestane do.....they are all essentially the same thing, working at the very same step of the very same mechanism, with the only slight difference beingn binding affinity (in all practicality). Just like all AIs will contribute to lowering HDL, due to decreasing systemic estrogen, even though the two studies thus far have showed aromasin doesn't affect HDL.

You can always find a study or two to contradict other studies....as long as you know the underlying mechanisms and can see the general trend, you can se which are the outliers.
