About 1 year ago, I got on trt. I was feeling like overall shit and after trying many different things, the wife suggested checking testosterone levels. I'm stubborn and didnt want to see a doc so I got a test through an out of state clinic via email and telephone. Test came back in the 200s and the same clinic gladly set me up with 200mg/wk of test cyp. Also, hcg and anastrozole.

I now feel like a new man. I am motivated, I am seeing progress in the gym, the wife is happy, I am happy.

I heard the stories about doctors not wanting to perscribe male hormones and it caused me to shy away from seeing a doctor, but I really wanted to deal with someone in person, not a teledoc. So I got set up with a crnp as a primary. She seemed very willing to work with me and she sent me to a urologist. The urologist was a very laid back guy, easy to talk to, and, of course, knowledgable.

The urologist was willing to keep me on the 200mg/wk if I wanted. The wife brought up the posibility of children, and he was willing to work with me in regards to that as well. Substituting trt with hcg and clomid in an attempt to regain fertility. The doc is also sending me for a sperm analysis to see what we are working with right now.

Anyway, I write this to encourage anyone on the fence about seeing a professional, go see the doctor! I was pleasantly surprised by the experience.

Also, this doctor is willing to write a script for hcg, if I can find a place to get it. He says my state doesnt allow compounding pharmacies. I know I can get it without a script, but I havent brought that up for obvious reasons. I figured reliablerx may be an option. Any suggestions?

I won't suggest shit.

I just wanted to congratulate you on making such a step!

That's all!

Just have a talk with the docs regarding the injection frequency of the testosterone.

I wish you the best!

Unsure if out of state places will take scripts but I would simply suggest transferring the script to a large metro pharmacy and having them ship it un-reconstituted.

The doc was talking about how he has some patients on weekly injections because once every two weeks is too long. I told him i split mine into two injections a week, every 3.5 days and he was cool with that. He said some people dont want to inject so often, it totally worth it to me though.

Nothing to say.
I get the idea that you are in good hands.
US or EU?

When are you going to try for children? 200mg/test a week isn't something that is keeping you having children in near future(like within a year). This is of course very individual. I know first hand that moderate AAS use (way higher AND longer than your replacement dose) will get women pregnant.

probably within the next year.
you think i'll be fine? I'm getting a sperm analysis done soon. I'd be happy if I didnt have to come off and deal with the low t, but while i am hopeful, i'm trying to remain realistic.

Im not a doctor and im not an expert on fertility. I can only share my "in the trenches" experiences. I would definitely continue TRT and live healthy and more happy "new man" like you wrote. Life is unpredictable and relationships can change. I wouldn't put my life on hold waiting something that may come.

I will be staying on my trt, at least until we start trying. But i am looking into this now so i am prepared.

It's nice when you can get the real deal, and not worry about what's in it. Seeing doc was best thing I did. My Test came back 130, so now I goto my mojo back.
Yes, being able to speak with someone face to face, someone who is knowledgable and is looking out for my health, it gives me peace of mind. And my primary care is on board with it too. Actually the intake nurse said low t has become more and more common over the past ten years, especially in younger guys. I thought it was rare.

It's hard to find a good primary Doctor. When I find one i like, the relationship will last years. I was in my 30's when my Test started dropping to the bottom end of the prescribing range, now in my 40's I have to Trt. It also helps with my Diabetes in different ways. Keeps me active, motivated, and with a clean diet my overall health is much improved.

My experience has been similar. Much more motivated, and my cholesterol is better than it was a year ago. Does it affect your diabetes indirectly through the motivation to exercise and make healthier choices?

My creatinine is slightly elevated. My primary is doing a 24hr urine collection and kidney imaging, ultrasound i think. I'm not real concerned yet, not until they give me a reason to be.
