First bodybuilding competition

Hey everyone, got my first show coming up in October. Definitely doing classic physique and may do mens open just to see what the judges say. Long term goal is to be an open competitor once I get bigger. I know it's pretty far off but was thinking about having a weekly check in and update on here. Id be happy to post cycle protocol, diet, pics, and answer whatever questions anyone may have. Would anyone be interested in this or should I piss off?

Exciting. I did my first competition in 2020. It is a lot of fun. I will be following along on this thread. You know there is a bodybuilding section here, right?
I appreciate it. Really excited. Wasn't sure if I should post here or there, but I figured since the check in will mostly consist of cycle and diet updates I chose this one. @malfeasance should I start the blog over at the bodybuilding section once I start?

I am sure you are good either way. I just did not know if you knew about that section.

I'll start the questions? How old are you? Underground or pharma grade stuff? Height and present weight? What is the weight/bodyfat goal?
Age: 31
Height: 5'9
Class: classic physique
Weight: currently 220 but will be somewhere between 180-190 lbs for stage weight. Bodyfat goal is simply as shredded as I can get that makes me look best on stage, don't really have a specific percentage in mind
Coach: Justin Harris
Diet: Carb cycling for bulking and for cutting

I wasn't goona really get this thread going until about June time when I start my prep cycle but this is how it'll play out

The gear is UGL and my current cycle is mostly from sym. My prep cycle is from a private source that I'm not even on the list for, my buddy hooked me up but he runs a small shop and only serves a handful. GH is opti, finishing up his old 240s now will switch to his new 120s when these are out. My ancillaries are a mix from balkan pharm and 7lab pharm

Anyone beginner reading this, please do not come close to these dosages.

Bulking right now
Current cycle
16 weeks
-1 gram test e
-800mg NPP
Injection frequency is daily
-.75mg adex eod (didn't seem to respond well to aromasin so I wanted to give adex a go. Going back to masin tho)
-10IU hgh EOD administered IM (this is from Opti's former 240iu kits)
-50mg proviron daily

Daily vitamins are b, e, c, d, tudca, calcium, astragalus, magnesium, zinc, 5htp, SAMe, fish oil, berberine, ubiquinol

Current diet (which may change every week but not always)
Low carb day
P 250g/ C 220g/ F 41g

Med Carb day
P 260g/ C 450g/ 21g

High Carb day
P 210g/ C 725g/ F 0g

Water intake is about a gallon, I always go a little over, and salt intake is high

Prep cycle: (this is not exactly what it'll be but basically a template)
Week 1-4
1 gram test
800mg NPP

Week 4-6
Keep test, kill NPP
Start ECA stack

Week 6-8
750mg test
350mg mast
t3/clen

Week 8-14
750mg test
350mg mast
350mg tren a
50mg proviron
40mg anavar
50mg winny

Week 14-16
Unsure tbh but I know I'll add halo either or a week or 2 out

GH will be run the whole time am and pm pins at 2.5iu each and I'll probably go up to 6iu daily

Obviously can't disclose diet yet as I do not know. Diet is determined week to week.

I'm sure I'll get some shit from some people as these are some pretty aggressive dosages for my physique. I'm fully aware that I'm pushing it but It's cool, I'm putting myself out there and I can handle critique. To be honest, I've been running cycles for about 3 years now, which is pathetic where my physique is currently at but I was really stupid about diet. It wasn't until about a year and a half ago when I really started to understand what to do. Point is, even though it doesn't look it, I'm pretty experienced already with cycling.

This is what I want to do with my life and I'm willing to push it. I get blood work done a month after starting my cycle, in the middle (if there's an issue), near the end, and a month after my cycle. My latest bloods were mostly good.

@Bluehooka , I give you a lot of credit man. You posted up a current physique pic right from the start and are brutally honest about your gear use, diet, exc. I appreciate your transparency. Usually the guys who talk the most shit are the guys who never post any pictures, not even profile pics- they just tell you that they are 5’10 inch: 250lbs, and 7%bodyfat lol. I’m definitely interested in following along. Good luck with this. I totally understand about making ones own choices, and taking the risks- Consequences that come along with your lifestyle choices.

Same Justin Harris that got the legend himself, Dave Tate into shape?

Impressive plan man. Good luck on your journey to pushing your limits to achieve greatness! Subbed.

Your cycle looks like it'll be hard as hell on your liver. I'd toss in some NAC on an empty stomach in the AM.

Question though. Why run winny, and anavar at the same time? Curious why you wouldnt just pick one and do more cardio and diet adjustments to get cut. Same about the MAST and Provi together. Seems like a waste of resources. Just curious, not criticizing.

Thanks man. Personally, I've had more luck with tudca keeping my liver values in order than nac did. I keep tudca in my vitamin stack year around, there are a lot more benefits to it that go beyond the liver. I usually run tudca at about 1 gram a day on orals (with a few hours separated from orals) and use nac during my cruise but I'll definitely consider throwing that in as you're right it's a liver harsh cycle, especially once the halo gets introduced. I'll see what Harris thinks is the best approach for this.

I'm not exactly sure why winny and var are run together. But these are generally both run together for contest prep cycles. Maybe someone who knows a bit better could answer this. Same with the mast and prov. I know an athlete who works with coach cutz (this coaches guys are crushing the men's physique division) and this cycle is basically the same as his.

Didn't take it as critical at all, but the dieting and cardio will be coming at me full force. Currently getting my ass kicked doing 6 min of HIIT on the stair stepper 3x a week. My coach warned me to be nice and rested before prep starts cause it'll be brutal lol

Right on man. Maybe I should try some Tudca again and recheck my AST/ALT values. I tend to hover around the higher end of the limit.

Sounds like you've got some great people supporting and guiding you. Never knew you could run all that together.

I have a couple female and male freinds that compete. About 3-4 weeks out they are grumpy as hell from all the cardio and caloric restrictions. A real test of your resolve and determination in those final weeks. Then once on stage its all smiles! Lol.

Doesnt he have like a fucking Masters in Physiques as well?

Hes a really smart guy.

Now I'm even more excited about your log, you have a solid coach too!!!
Yeah I think his bachelor's was in physics and his master's is in exercise and health sciences. Happy to be a part of his team. He's very affordable also for a coach at that caliber - 1800$ a year. A lot of these "elite" level coaches charge out the ass.
