Hi all,

I've been lurking for a month and this is my first thread. I'm really grateful for the wealth of information available here. And i'd like to start becoming a little more active.

I started about 4 weeks ago. I was very conservative and went in at 150 for the first week, then 200 week 2 and then 250 for the last two weeks. I was expecting a test of mid 1000s at best? Am I just a very cheap date/ slow metaboliser when it comes to test?

My thyroid seems low (is this worth looking into?). And my estrogen and prolactin are high (I'm sub-10 BF so I thought i'd try going without an AI if possible and using 200mg DIM a day and daily subq administrations). Is there anything I should be concerned about other than controlling my estrogen better: I'm thinking of adding primo at 100mg/week and dropping test to 200, or adding 12.5mg aromasin 2x a week? I don't feel any high E sides and my libido and nips are fine.

GGT seems a bit high as is ALT. I'm taking NAC and i've started 600mg injectable glutathione 2x-3x a week.

Anything else that I should look into? Thanks!

I'm new as well, someone else can provide more detailed explanation. From what I gathered here, especially if you're playing with test dosage, always have AI on hand.

Starting with 150, did you test to see how your body responds to that? If not, then it's hard to tell what 250 will do especially not knowing your baseline prior to starting. Also, switching that often (every 2 weeks) unless you know your body isn't smart imo. I don't mind being proven wrong.

Hey there,

I should have clarified. I have an AI on hand. Also, I did start at 150 to see how I responded, but then decided to go up so that i could get a realistic sense of what my health markers would be like after 4 weeks at a reasonable dose instead of just TRT.

My test was 640ish before, and I did some bloodwork prior which was all in the green except slightly elevated AST.

Without knowing the range for the tests giving good advice is difficult as different labs have different ranges.

That makes sense. With your current baseline, a 2500 total test isn't unrealistic but it does seem on the higher end of the range. It's really a combination of your response to the test, is it test e? Also possible variability in the testing itself and the vial that you're using, especially if it's ugl. And the daily injection would give higher stable levels.

For estradiol control, it's more of a preference. Some like primo, others don't. As for 100mg of primo and reduction of test to 200mg is unclear and probably unlikely with your levels. You may need 200 of primo... Again this is just speculation and would require trial and error. Safest route would be aromasin.

The other bloodwork, I'll let someone else help that's more experienced than me. From the looks of it, they're not a concern unless this trend continues with multiple bloodwork and you've stabilized the change in injections.
