First cycle log. Test Cyp and dianabol.

I have been a member of this site for a while, and a reader for a longer time, and although I don't post much, I have done a huge amount of research over the past year. I did so much reading, that when it came time to do my first injection earlier today, I did it easily, without any problems, as if I had done it hundreds of times before (let's hope that continues).

My History

I am 24 years old (25 in a few weeks), 6 feet tall, and 190 lbs @ 6 % bf right now. Over the past few months I have cut down from 208 lbs, where I was at 12 % bf.

I have been training correctly and heavily, with a proper diet since I was 17 years old. When I started I was 145 lbs, and 6% bf. Now I am 190 lbs and 6 % bf. So over the course of the past 8 years I have put on 45 lbs of lean muscle naturally, and I honestly feel that it is the correct time to jump over to AS.

My Stats
I bench in the mid 300s (315 for 4-6 reps as a max, whatever that calculates out to)
I squat 405 for 8 reps
I just did 455 for 3 reps on deads this week, which would be a PR.

My Cycle
I am going to inject 250 mg of testosterone cyp twice a week, which works out to 1.25 CC each injection because my bottle is 200mg/ml. I will run this cycle for 12-16 weeks, and I have not decided which length yet. I have 4 10 ml bottles of the cyp. Some input would be great on this matter.

I am going to take 30 mg of dianabol (human grade- the really good stuff) ED for 4 weeks to kickstart my cycle. I considered simply front loading the test for a nice kickstart, but I decided ultimately to wait until my second cycle to apply advanced cycling techniques such as mixing multi-compound shots or front loading.

I have on hand arimidex, tamoxifen citrate tabs and clomid tabs. I will start my PCT regiment 10-14 days after my last shot of test cyp. I will only take the arimidex if I feel gyno beginning, or if the bloat gets crazy. From what I have read, estrogen is good for the cycle. So if possibly, I want to avoid the arimidex. Please let me know your opinion on this.

I had my first shot this evening. 1.25 CC (250 mg) of test cyp into my left glute with a 22G 1.5 inch needle. Very, very smooth. Everything went much better than expected. I did a huge amount of reading, and followed the injection procedure from William Llewellyn's book "Anabolics" to a T. I think this is why I had no problems.

I will be keeping a log of my progression. Please let me know your opinions, or if you have any questions or suggestions. Thank you.
 
Update #1-

Day 1 on the cycle. I took 30 mg of Dbol spread through the day, and my first shot of 250 mg of test cyp this morning.

I have never been so hungry in my life, and it is definitely not a placebo effect. I know that it can't possibly be the test kicking in, but the dianabol has definitely made me hungrier than ever before.

Today I consumed 12 egg whites and 4 whole eggs, a 12 oz steak, 6 full size murrays chicken breasts, 3 cups of brown rice, a cup of oatmeal, a lobster roll on whole wheat, 4 large sausages with mashed potatoes and spinach, a tuna sandwich, an order of steamed chicken skewers with spinach, an order of fried calimari (not good, i know), a full gallon of fat free milk, 10 scoops of whey protein with 24 g per scoop, and 2 scoops of casein (24 grams per scoop).

And I could still honestly eat. But I am going to go to bed now because I have work in the morning.
 
This is a great first cycle. You can't go wrong with this one.

And it looks like you know how to eat, too. I usually lecture people about making sure they eat enough. But it looks like you understand that already.

Thanks for the reply Fulano. I definitely have my diet down right now. I have been through SO much trial and error in the last 8 years of lifting in regards to both training and diet that I feel like I am in a very good place right now in terms of my foundation. And hopefully the excessive amount of research I did before this first cycle will result in a negligible amount of errors in the execution of the cycle.

Day 2 Update

I can confirm that I am feeling something that is absolutely not a placebo. I woke up absolutely starving this morning. I ate 8 egg whites and 4 whole eggs scrambled with a cup of oats with 10 mg of dianabol and a cup of black coffee and 2 scoops of whey protein in water and then went to the gym.

However, on the walk to the gym, I got more hungry than I have ever been in my life. I stopped at a sandwich place and ordered a sandwich that comes with 2 chicken breasts, and a side of spinach. I threw away the bread, ate the chicken breasts and spinach, and then went to the gym to do shoulder day.

When I arrived at the gym, I took 20 mg of dianabol. I am going to experiment with 40 mg per day instead of 30 mg per day. The pump I got was fantastic- actually indescribably fantastic. I had the best workout of my entire life. I took at most 30 second breaks in between sets, I lifted extremely heavy throughout my workout, and I squeezed the entire workout into one hour.

The other thing I noticed on day 2 is my focus is incredible. I feel a healthy energy and focus that I have not felt before. It is unlike a supplemented and jittery focus that one can get from adderall or jack3d or something like that. It is a natural, incredible feeling.

After the gym I drank 2 more scoops of protein, and then ate 3 large chicken breasts with a cup of brown rice. I have not taken any arimidex yet, because I have had no symptoms. I know it is only day 2, but I am praying that I am one of the few that will never have to take an anti-E on cycle, because from what I have read it slightly hinders the dianabol kick-start.
 
Thank you Reinhart. I appreciate the well wishes, and I am thankful to have this website and all of the veterans on it to answer any questions that I undoubtedly will come across during this first cycle of mine.

Quick update on days 3 and 4 on the cycle. I am reacting extremely well to the dianabol, so I have actually upped the dosage to 50 mg a day, spread out over 4 doses (10, 20 Pre workout, 10, 10). This seems to be the perfect dosage, and the pumps and focus are literally through the roof and at one point a bit painful, in the best possible way.

I still have felt no signs of gyno or bloating whatsoever, so the arimidex will remain in the cupboard. At the fist sign of either of these issues however, I will start a dosage of .25 EOD. I am crossing my fingers that I will not need this. One of my friends who has been cycling for 4 years now, and recently came off a test-tren cycle (with a couple other compounds that I do not recall) has never needed arimidex. I know that every person reacts differently, but I am hoping that I am one of the few that will not need to deal with estrogen related (negative) side affects.

Tomorrow morning I will administer injection # 2 of 1.2 CC of the test Cyp, this time into my right glute (the last was my left) with a 1.5 inch 22 gauge 3 CC needle. I have been drawing with a seperate 22 gauge needle than I use to shoot, and despite the claims that I have read on the forums that a 22 gauge may be too large to draw with (people tend to prefer an 18 gauge cannon), I had absolutely no issue drawing or shooting with the 22 gauge needles. Let's hope this will continue.

I had a late night last night, and was out till around 5 am, but I only drank water, and I consumed a huge amount of healthy food while I was out. But I ended up bringing a girl home with me, so the sleep wasn't the best last night. For this reason, my gym day today was not outstanding. I felt extremely tired because I only slept for 3-4 hours, but my I was still able to pull in the mid 400s for reps on the deadlift, and the pump was still outstanding. Another thing that I want to note is that my libido was insane last night, and it was only day # 4. I can not imagine what kind of animal I will be when the test cyp kicks in.

[Bday 6 update[/B]

I had a much needed day off from the gym yesterday (sunday). Although the dianabol has definitely kicked in, the test cyp definitely has not, and I have been pushing my body way past my natural limitations this week in the gym. I need to be cautious as to not get injured, and constantly remind myself that the cyp will not kick in until the third week.

I jumped on the scale today, and I am up 12 pounds. Yes, it is unbelievable, but I have gained 12 pounds in 6 days! My original goals were to get to 210 on this cycle (from 190), but now I believe that I will realistically end up somewhere around 230.

My diet has been unbelievable, and I have been eating over 6,000 calories a day. My protein has been over 500 grams a day.

I apologize for the weak update right now, but I am exhausted and about to hit the sack for about 10 hours.

What I have to include in the log before signing off tonight is that the dianabol is truly a wonder drug. I crushed my bench PR today at the gym. My workout partner helped me lift off 315, and from here I usually struggle to get 3-5 reps. I easily did 7 reps, and my spotter helped me through an additional 3. I honestly had NO IDEA that dianabol was this powerful. I am very thankful that I opted to purchase the human grade stuff though, and not some cheap version. I will definitely be including dianabol in my future cycles as a kick start due to this excellent first taste.
 
day 7 update

I weighed the option of beginning my arimidex at .25 mg EOD today heavily simply because I have gained 13 lbs in the past 7 days, and I am assuming it is all water from the dianabol. I have had absolutely no gyno symptoms however, so I will not begin the arimidex after all.

This may sound like sacrilegious, but I hope the gains stop pouring on so fast, especially if they are all water at this point. 13 lbs in one week has left me feeling a tad bit sluggish. I can not wait until the test cyp kicks in and the lean muscle gains begin.

My leg day today was fantastic. I set a PR on squats, and then had a very solid but not fantastic four sets of straight leg deadlifts. I also did drop sets with the leg prones for my quads, and the hamstring curls for my hamstrings to burn out. At the end, I loaded up on the leg press for 4 sets, and then did 8 of supersets between the conventional calf press and the donkey calf press for my calves.

I finished the day with a massive ab routine.

I live on a fifth floor walk up, and let's put it this way: it has been eight hours since this leg workout, and I just returned from the grocery store with 40 lbs of groceries in my hands, and it took me 10 minutes to climb my stairs, and I was cringing the entire way.

Do any of the vets have any input about whether or not I should start the arimidex due to the bloat, but a total lack of gyno symptoms? Should I just continue to ride it out like I am, since I am getting to negative estrogen related sides?

day 7: what I ate

For those of you wondering how I have possibly gained 13 lbs in one week, well I can attribute it partially to the fact that I am taking 50 mg a day of human grade dianabol, and perhaps the test cyp has somewhat made my hunger increase (although this is doubtful because it has not been long enough). But check out my diet: I am eating a fucking huge amount:

6am:

8 egg whites, 4 eggs scrambled (50 grams protein, roughly)
3 pieces of whole wheat double fiber bread
protein shake with 2 scoops (48 grams) in lowfat milk (additional 8 grams of protein for milk)

7am: hit the gym

8am:

2 more scoops of protein (48 grams)

8: 30 am

Meat sandwich on pita bread with a side salad (60 grams of protein)

11:30 am
Three massive turkey burgers each on whole pita bread with a massive side salad, 2 liters of water, and a diet coke. (120 grams of protein)

2 pm

20 oz cut of steak with a huge side of health-food cole slaw. (75 grams protein)

4 pm

2 scoops of protein in a cup of lowfat milk (58 grams protein)

6: 30 pm

3 large chicken breasts, baked, with a side of rice and spinach (90 grams protein)

9 pm

4 chicken, avocado tacos from a very healthy and upscale mexican place on my corner. This is a cheat meal, but it is healthy (roughly 60 grams protein)

11 pm

2 scoops casein protein and quarter gallon of lowfat milk (roughly 75 grams protein)

BED TIME

That is just under 700 grams of protein consumed today. Thanks for reading.
 
day 8 update

Back day. I set a PR for # of reps of 225 on bent over rows today. The back is my strongest body part; I have the highest of the big 3 #s on my deadlift; I can go the longest and hardest on my back day as opposed to leg day or chest day, etc'. Today I went very heavy and did 16 sets, split into 4 exercises (4 sets each): bent over rows, T bar rows, one arm rows, weighted wide grip chin ups. Then I did an ab routine and left. It wasn't the most fantastic day at the gym, despite the fact that I set a PR. The cyp definitely has not kicked in yet, and I have faced the fact that I am overtraining currently, but that has been a paradox that I have been dealing with since I started bodybuilding years ago- the love of training vs. the benefits of NOT overtraining.

I believe that this dilemna is actually the funnel into all use of AS, if you think about it. We all love to train hard, but our natural hormone levels will not allow us to train at the level that we desire, and therefore we supplement to achieve this goal.

Sorry for the tangent. I can't wait for the cyp to kick in, and I am getting excited for my next shot on wednesday. When I came into this first cycle, I was terrified of needles, having never injected. One week later, I can not wait for my next injection, and I am actually ancy to stick a 1 inch needle into my delt twice this week (:

Also, I have been experimenting with my dosage of the dianabol. I have 5mg pills, so I was attempting to split the dosage into multiple single 5 mg pills throughout the day. Unfortunately, I could not keep track of where I was at, and I may have ended up taking 60 mg that day. So I will continue to take 3 doses of 10 mg, and one pre workout dosage of 20.

day 8 update: First deltoid shot

A pleasant thought dawned upon me around 2pm today: It is Wednesday and therefore it is time for the third injection!

Anybody who has been keeping up with my long knows that I have been dying to inject again, since the first two shots in my glutes went so smoothly. Todays shot in the deltoid, unfortunately, was not as easy.

I was using a 22 g needle for my fist 2 glute shots, and they were easy and fast. For todays shot, I used a 25 gauge, and it fucking sucked. My first attempt, I jabbed too fair toward the rear of my deltoid, and then quickly realized that I could not hold my other arm in that position for long enough to inject. So I withdrew the needle, and I withdrew it crooked, and a small amount of blood trickled down my arm. No sweat off my back. I disinfected the area and put a band aid on it, replaced the needle with a fresh one, and poked myself more towards the center of the delt. This time it went fine.

My beef is that the 1.2 CC shot in my deltoid took about 10 minutes to inject. When I used the 22 gauge on my glutes, it took roughly 30 seconds. I am so annoyed with myself that I ordered a hundred 25 gauge needles before I knew that 25 gauge takes this long to inject. I am going ahead and ordering a bunch of 22 gauge or smaller needles today, so I never have to shoot with something as small as a 25 gauge again.

My question is, why have I been reading on SO many forums that the suggested needle size for rookies such as myself is a 25 gauge? If anything, wouldn't a smaller needle be easier because the injection can go faster?

I live and I learn. Now I know that not everything I read on the forums is a fact, that 25 gauge is way too small for my taste.
 
everyone likes what they like so if you like using 22g go ahead and rock them. i on the other hand have used enough 18g whistlers in my time that i look forward to using my 25g and 27g. have no problem putting 2ml of oil through a 27g in 1 minute and i have to make myself go slow when using a 25g. good luck on your cycle bro!
 
Day 9 update

Quick update: The d-bol REALLY kicked in today during my shoulder workout for the first time. I set a major PR of overhead presses (no leg burst whatsoever) with the barbell @ 135 lbs, 10 reps.

Felt amazing!
 
day 13 update

I took ,25 mg of liquid arimidex today because my bloat is getting out of hand. It is only day 13 of my cycle, and I am up nearly 20 lbs. Furthermore, I have been eating extremely clean (not one cheat meal yet). Those of you keeping up with my log know that I started at 6% bf, and I am probably up around 8 % right now, because the water weight is NUTS right now.

Libido Update

Although some of you will argue undoubtedly, I believe the test cyp has kicked in. My libido is fucking through the roof. I have been asking girls out every single day, and have been on a date every day this week, and I even double dipped on saturday (and got lucky with both). I have been extremely aggressive (yet respectful) with the ladies, because I feel so confident. I have been waking up with morning wood that is like metal, and will not go away until I climax. Sorry if this is TMI, but I just wanted to update everyone on how my libido has been.

Strength

This morning was chest day. I ripped the bench press apart. I literally bench pressed 225 until I lost count. Something like 20 reps. I have to completely reconstruct the amount of weights I use as my working sets now that I am using AS. Today I maxed in the mid 300s and hit it for 3 reps. I truly can not express how much I am enjoying this mixture of dianabol and test cyp (and the test cyp has not even fully kicked in yet.)

Injections update

Those of you who are folllowing my log know that I had an incident shooting into my deltoid with a 25 gauge needle, 1 inch length. The fact is that I am impatient, and I don't like the amount of time it takes to shoot with a needle as small as 25 gauge. So I went to my pharmacy and picked up 10 22 gauge needles, and have been using them. The injections are significantly smoother.

For any rookies who are thinking of using 25 gauge, I urge you to reconsider. While the needle is pain free due to its small size, the injection simply takes too long, especially if you are shooting over 1cc per shot like I am.

Sides

I am proud to report that there have been absolutley no sides. I was worried about acne, since I had mild-bad acne as a teen, but I have not had a single pimple on my face or back. My blood pressure is also completely normal, and I have had absolutely no anger issues. Actually, on the contary- I have never felt so calm.

Libido Update

Although some of you will argue undoubtedly, I believe the test cyp has kicked in.

There is a difference between "kicking in" in the sense of having sufficient blood levels to produce significant muscle gains and "kicing in" regarding effect on libido. it is possible to substantially increase libido, energy, and general well-being long before blood levels get high enough to result produce significant muscle gains.

My libido shot through the roof after about one week on Test Cyp, and it stayed high for 8 straight weeks. I loved it for that.
