Hi all
I'm 40 years old 160# 5,11" trying to get to 180 been working out for little while I'm ready for my first cycle, tlive in canada his is still part of my research friends suggested I do test-c stack it with d-Bol any suggesting it'll be appreciated.
Thank you!!

Eat and eat some more. 160 pounds at 5'11" you need to learn how to train and eat buddy. If you have low test levels and are having a hard time gaining lean muscle go to your doc and get on TRT if you have low T. At 40 you just might.

Hey man we just PM'd so you know this isn't a flame. 100% of people that say they are "eating and training pretty good" aren't when someone who knows what they are doing looks at your training and diet.

If I were you, my diet would look something like this:

Meal 1:
6 eggs
2 cups oatmeal
Milk

Meal 2:
min. 6 oz chicken
2 cups rice/pasta
milk

meal 3:
same or with fish/steak/lean ground beef/turkey whatever

meal 4:
repeat meal 3

meal 5:
repeat meal 3

meal 6:
repeat meal 3 but eat steak later at night and cut the rice/pasta and add veggies

You can add green veggies to any meal, and substitute one or 2 with shakes. One of them should be your PWO shake. Eat peanut butter and jelly/banana sandwiches between your meals. If your on the road, get a triple cheeseburger before you go without a meal. In fact, grab one anyways. I doubt you are eating this much. You need to eat until you're blue.

Train Heavy and Hard, do hit cardio 3 days a week, and you will not get fat.

Get your T levels checked. You're at an age where your T levels could be getting low. If you have low T, you probably will get fat eating this much.

Thank you so much for all your help!!! I'm defenetly not eating enough, not even close to that I'll try this out!! Thank you brother.

When I was trying to get big I ate 6-12 eggs for breakfast and 2 of those pre-cooked rottisiere chickens from the super market throughout the day, almost everyday.

And a steak, or burgers every night. That was just protein.

And you get the point. Now go start growing!

LB,

Good job on starting a new thread instead of piggybacking off of a sticky. As was previously stated diet and training come first. That being said, I have seen people with fairly poor diets and mediocre training make decent gains with AAS. I will stick with my original recommendation of 10 weeks with 200mg a week of Test C or E. Like me, you are a little older, not big and have naturally low T (probably due to age). With only 150mg of Test C a week my test levels went from 328 to >1500 (range 348-1197) and I made some very good gains in strength and muscle. I am working on cutting so it was more of maintaining muscle while losing weight.

Also you must have a PCT planned and have the gear for it on hand before you start the cycle. You should post your cycle plan and PCT on this board before starting.

Thank you gunrunner at first I didn't know how to go about it, but now I'm getting lot of help from you guys!! I'm planning on doing that before I start puting anything in my body, I'm not just looking for a quick fix as I am willing to put lots of effort in the gym as well not to forget the kitchen :)

Well in most cases, you can grow with alot of calories. Some people though, like myself, have a VERY high metabolism and can't gain no matter how many calories they take in. Since you're already 40, IMO if you were gonna gain, you would've already gained by now. I agree with going with the low dose Test cycle for 10 weeks. It'll be just right for you. Good luck!

Oh I'm def not telling him not to hit a cycle. But even with gear, he needs to learn to eat and train right to grow. I think he knows that, and is doing it.

Test E or C. No more then 500 mg/week for 10 weeks. See how you grow, PCT, take equal time off and run it again but add 20-30 mg/day of DBol for first 4 weeks. There's your first year of cycles. If he eats and lifts big, he will get to at least 190 by the end of that, and I'm being conservative.

By then you should have done enough research to start making changes/knowing your body a bit better and going from there.
