Hi everyone,
This is my first post but have been lurking for a while now. Been training for about 10yrs now, all natural and decided to do a DNP cut cycle. I ordered some of D's stuff but got given some BRL (british research labs; 50caps) as well so I decided to start with those whilst waiting for D's shipment.
Diet is keto with a carb up MEAL once a week. Cals are around 2,200cals with protein around the 190g mark.
Starting weight: 215lbs
BF%: 20%
weights: alternating heavy/light weeks.
The "plan" is Day 1-4 = 200mg
Day 5-8 = 400mg
Day 9 - end = 600mg
I do cardio ED for about 45mins and weights 4 evenings a week. Decided to start with 200mg a day for 4 days and then based on sides and temperature, go from there. Also taking an EC stack (not taking aspirin as I am on warfrin anyway and that works fine for me)
I started last week Monday which was the 24th of January. I popped my 200mg tab first thing in the morning with the only side being a dodgy tummy. Apparently common with BRL tabs. Placebo paranoia kicked in as I expected with me "feeling" all sorts during the day.
I did notice some itching but was not sure if it was ghostly or real so have been taking 1 benadryl a day to be on the safe side. Not had any issues since.
Second day; nothing to report and all seems well. On the third day I expereinced some hot flushes during the day and some minor night sweats. I tend to sweat a lot at night anyway so it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Day 5 and I bumped it up to two tabs a day and EC 3 times a day. feeling warm but nothing to write home about. Temp has been between 96.5 and 97.5. Still not feeling the sides that have scared the life out of me from reading all 41 pages of DNP info here like garden-style-watering-sweat etc.
Had some crazy carb cravings for a couple of days but nothing major. As I had been on 2 tabs for 4 days and not "really feeling" anything I decided to take an extra tab last night to make 3 tabs yesterday. I took the last one last night around 10pm and got home and went to bed. Around 2am I woke up with what seemed to be the WORST flu symptoms ever!!!!!!!! Feverish, cold yet hot, weird crazy dreams, the full works!!! I did not feel like it was life threatneing but just really really ill-I-want-to-crawl-into-bed-and-never-move-again situation.
I woke up this morning and could not go to the gym so skipped it. Not taken any today so far as temperature was around 99.2 this morning and I feel extremely hot. Other sides have inculded some serious hip pains which started first on one side and then both. Seems fine once I wake up but hurt a bit. I have also lost all taste for food and so just eating for the sake of fuel now.
I will go back to 400mg from tomorrow as I think that seems to be my safe zone. I still very feverish and having hot and cold flushes. Aprt from today it has not hampered my work outs (cardio or weights) in anyway. I do notice a lot more heavy breathing but all part of the ride from what I have read so far. I will stay on 400mg a day to the end and see how I get on.
In terms of supps, I have been taking a multi vit and thats it. Loads of water but nothing stupid. Weighed myself today and it said 215lb which was exactly what it was when I started 10days ago. I am hoping this is water retention but we shall see eh. Joints are also aching a bit.
So today is Day 10 and no tabs. Just drinking loads of water at the moment and trying to eat some food. In the office but as desk based, there is not much to do in terms of movement. I have also continued taking the EC for the energy boost.
Should I go straight back to 400mg tomorrow or start with 200mg. I have also used Con's spredsheet to see how much has built up in my system.
