First Tren/Test C Cyle Log

My Stats:
27, 6'4", 235lbs (naturally gained, last AAS was over 5 years ago and afterwards dropped back to starting weight), 16%bf.

Will be eating 200-250g of protein a day with a target of 3800 cals, diet consisting mostly of chicken, white fish, quinoa, brown rice, other complex carbs, protein shakes, and veggies with some nuts/avocado/etc added in for healthy fats. I have Multi vitamins, CLA, Fish Oil, MCT Oil, Carnatine, Creatine, and other supps on hand that are already part of my diet. My typical "grab-and-go" premade meal that I make in bulk to take to work is 10oz chicken, 1.5 cups brownrice/quinoa mix, and 3/4 cup organic sodium free black beans. My one weakness is starbucks, I'll grab a latte drink 3-4 times a week in the morning, a habit I'm trying to wean myself off of.

I have about 6 years of consistent weight training and powerlifting experience, but due to my lower back giving me issues powerlifting is no longer an option so now I just want to build a solid physique after hitting a long term weight and strength plateau. Goal is primarily recomp and maybe lean bulk if my body permits.

As of now, here is my cycle, I'm currently on week 3:

Weeks 1-12: Test Cyp @ 500mg/week
Weeks 1-12: Arimidex .5mg eod
Weeks 3-10: Tren Ace @ 50mg eod (will adjust up if my tolerance permits)

21 Days after last test c pin:
Weeks 1-4: Clomid 100/50/50/50
Weeks 1-4: Nolva 60/40/40/40

I lift heavy 4 days a week (back/bi, chest/tri, legs, shoulders), with whole body workouts or athletic activities the other 2-3 days.

2.5 Weeks into cycle I am up to 239.5lbs, and have noticed a drop in bf%, probably about 1%.
 
About to complete my 3rd week of test c and 1st week of tren. I think it's too early to be expecting any benefits from tren yet but I have noticed that I'm sleeping 1-2 hours less than average per night, which I'm making up for by napping a couple hours in the afternoon. As of today I'm kicking tren from 50mg eod to 75mg eod.

I am, however, starting to see the test kick in. I'm sitting at about 240 so I'm up around 5lbs, however I've lost at least 3-4 lbs of fat from my chest, stomach, and obliques so I seem to be recomping pretty well at 3500 clean calories a day and moderate cardio. My lifts have all gone up slightly and its easier to "beast mode" through a couple more reps before failure. The road bike that I ordered will be arriving soon so I'm hoping that will help me shed fat even faster as well as loosen up my legs, I have very short/tight hamstrings which make it hard to squat with good form.

The only sides I've experienced so far besides slight insomia are injection site pain which was probably due to injecting my 1.5ml of test/tren too quickly, slightly increased aggression, and way more sweating while working out. Occasionally I'll get a little short of breath and every now and then my balls ache a little bit.
 
Sorry, that was pretty vague. I just mean I'm spending far less time doing cardio than I would on a natural cut or recomp plan. I'm spending about 90% of my time at the gym lifting as opposed to 50/50 like id be doing off gear, mainly using the weight training itself to keep my heart rate up. Im only doing a few minutes of stand alone cardio on lifting days to warm up and cool down, and none of it is HIIT training at the moment. I'll be adding in different types of cardio training (biking, MMA, HIIT) once the tren kicks in fully and I have a baseline established for my heart rate and bp to compare it against.

Wow, 4lbs of fat is a lot in only a couple weeks especially considering only a few minutes of cardio! Good for you man, hopefully that trend continues for you.
 
Yeah I've been eating really clean and drinking tons of water so it's coming off pretty easy. I can drop weight really easily until I hit 215 or so (well, natural 215) but then I hit a certain bf% and plateau. My Nordic genes don't like me being skinny lol.
 
Had a significant increase in aggressiveness and energy this morning, had to add 30 minutes of boxing after I lifted just to get all my energy out. Was lifting 10-15% more than usual and pumping out a few extra reps, probably more due to my aggressiveness than strength gain. Glad I had access to the gym this morning, I was ready to rip heads off.
 
Currently in the middle of 4th week on test c @ 500mg and 2nd week on tren at 75mg eod. Bodyfat is dropping, lean muscle mass is increasing steadily. Rapid weight gain that I got when on test alone has tapered to a more steady pace, probably due to weight of the fat I'm losing.

Weight as of today is 240.5, most of my sets in the gym have stepped up one tier since the beginning of week 3 (if a set was 30x15, 40x12, 60x8 lbs before its now 35, 45, 70). Cardio has suffered but I've been doing boxing at 90 second rounds and lots of uphill walking on the treadmill, as well as lots of medicine ball tossing. Seems to be all I need to keep the fat burning off while on tren.
 
Insane night sweats last night, woke up and it was like I'd jumped straight from a shower into bed. I've decided to switch to 35mg ed for now to see if the side effects lessen. Also, pinned delts for the first time today and it was much easier than I thought it would be. Only tricky part is aspirating with one hand. Also switched from a 1" 23g to a 1" 25g, world of difference between the two. 23g isnt bad but you can even tell 25g is there. Current weight is 241, waist has dropped from 37" at start of this cycle to 36". Biceps haven't gained much height, but are much wider from front to back and seem to be filling in. Most other muscle groups are doing the same, I'm assuming once they've filled in fully they will start to grow outward more.

Yeah night sweats went away entirely once I dropped to 50mg ed, or the only noticeable side is insomnia. A little harder I fall asleep and and I wake up about an hour earlier.
 
Sorry, left out a detail on that last post. Night sweats went away when I dropped down to 35mg ed, I bumped dosage to 50mg ed since then and still haven't had any sides. It seems anything over 50mg I start having issues.
 
Up to 244lbs, and body fat is still slowly dropping. Starting to get a few compliments from people here and there saying I look like I'm toning up. I also ordered some mass gainer shake that's 600 calories per serving, I was having a hard time getting enough clean calories in while on the road. Strength has been slowly climbing, and I've been alternating between medium weight with high rep (12-15 reps) and heavy weights working to failure at 5-6 reps to try to cause some muscle confusion.

My lower back pain is virtually gone and my posture has greatly improved, I seem to have strengthened up my core muscle enough over the last month to reduce almost all strain from my back. My appetite has dropped off a lot, so it's getting harder to eat enough. I end up just force feeding down bland healthy food as fast as possible just to get it in. Sex drive is through the roof, managed to have sex 6 times in 24 hours with the wife. I don't know if I was more surprised that I could go that many rounds or that she allowed that much abuse (I'm sure her being drunk helped). Only downside is tren seems to make erections harder to maintain (goes away really fast if I lose focus), and it takes a really long time to finish which can be a good or bad thing depending on my wife's mood lol.
 
Body weight is up to 246 and I'm still getting noticeably thinner. All of my lifts at the gym have gone up by about 20% so far. I haven't been able to max out on bench yet since there never seems to be anyone big enough to spot me while I'm doing chest days, but I'm benching 250 x 6 without a spotter, and before cycle 250 was about what my 1 rep max was. I'm fairly confident my 1 rep max is over 300lbs now. I can't run as long while doing cardio, but while I am running my legs feel more powerful and I'm not working as hard to maintain speed.

The only 2 side effects that I'm struggling with are low appetite and aggression. It's very, very hard to get in enough calories with where my appetite is right now, I'm really only hungry enough for 1 meal a day so I'm having to force feed myself healthy snacks and weight gainer shakes to make up the deficit. If I was going for a pure bulk this would bother me but since I'm trying to recomp it's not too bad. I'm already pretty big so if I end up cutting a bit it's not the end of the world.

The aggression is really mild some days and really intense other days. I try to wait for a big wave of aggression to hit me before going to the gym so I can both push harder and reduce the aggression a bit by the time I'm home. One thing that really sucks is the combination of being hyper horny and hyper aggressive. My wife "wasn't in the mood" on one of these nights and it was kind of scary how irritated I got. I didn't let any of it show but it was scary close to a "if you won't give it willingly, I'm just going to take it" kind of moment. I'm luckily a pretty mild mannered guy but if someone who is already wired and aggressive all the time even when off cycle was running this stuff, that could be bad.
 
Weight is at 247 today, worked shoulders are all of my lifts have increased significantly since I started my cycle. It's a very weird feeling, it seems like my body is just ignoring the strength "wall" that used to be there. I keep stacking on plates expecting to not be able to get them off the rack, but every time they lift and I set a new PR. I used to rep 180 on smith machine shoulder press and my shoulders would be ready to give out at any moments, now I'm confidently pressing 230.

One of my favorite things about doing a body recomp as opposed to a bulk is that my overall physical size isn't changing much, I just have muscle replacing the space that used to be fat. The only area that is significantly larger are my legs since I naturally carry almost no fat on them. I've also decided to switch to Test Prop for the last 21 days of my cycle so the test cyp will have cleared and I'll be able to start pct a few days after my last pin.
