I'm playing Db with a semi-pro football team.
Will start taking AS pretty soon. What is a good
workout that I can during the season to maintain
power and speed. Does winny or sust. help?
 
Dont take winny it will on cause you more pain in the joints. As far as the workout i would go with light weight high reps and include explosive movements power clean, clean and jerk, dead-Lift, hang cleans.
 
Stick to the Big Three movements (Squat, Deadlift, Benchpress). I have a cousin who is a sprinter, thats all he does and gets great results from it. Other compound movements would be good too.

What would be good to use during my sport?
 
Don't you have a strenght/conditioning coach that trains the team?

It makes little to no sense do to low weight workouts in a sport that puts a premium on strength. However, the cleans are a great idea.

Bro, the drugs are negligible. They will not "make" you an athlete.

I could hazard a guess at what the pros use. Probably test and GH. Nothing fancy. Nothing more than anyone else uses.

Do you know what makes them a professional? They have more athletic ability than the other guys. Some of them are born with it and some of them just plain train harder/longer/better.

I'm already athletic, just wondering what some guys use to get and edge.
I'm getting older so some of my speed has diminished. I know you need to
train; and train hard.

I have 2 bros that I know in the league from when i played with them. They used test- fina- winny-etc in college.

Now in the league well depends one is a linebacker one is a offense guard.

The now PATRIOT GUARD :) Uses only insulin and gh.

The linebacker uses dnp ocasionally and clen. t-3 TONS OF GH. (i think he waisted it)

So the league is mostly TALENT either you have it or you dont.
 
I played ball at a major division 1 school actually started at D-End OLB we finished 2nd in the nation lost in the national champs game because we couldnt catch a little shit named Peter Warrick. I will still see him in my dreams for the rest of my life. Most of the teamed juiced Prop, Dbol, Suspension GH. off season like around summer was the best time because you had about a 6 month loop hole to get in a big cycle. When you could use things like EQ, Fina, and orals. We probally had one of the best strength coaches in the country. During the season are main stays were power cleans, inclines, Deads, Box Squats. Benching with chains. All the others were just gravy on top. The key is explosive power. We trained with monster truck tires, sumo wrestling, parachutes, power bands, jumpsoles, you name it. Most of ran track out of season. I was running a legit 4.45 40 at 6'3" 255. Running 10.7's and 10.6's in the 100 and i wasnt even close to being able to run with some of the RBs DBs WRs and for that matter QBs. Explosive power is the key! Look into jumpsoles will add iches to your vert and drop your 40 time and also will add inches to your calves. Two words bro when it comes to big time college football SPEED KILLS!
