Free Testosterone Levels

I’m not very knowledgeable on what free testosterone is typically around at this level of total testosterone, but this seems incredibly high, does it not?

Usually 2-3% of total. You’re 4.1%. A lot of the time when you get on TRT your percentage tends to go in the higher range.

Does the free test at 444pg/ml and the bioavailable at 904pg/ml seem unusually high. I’m running masteron as well as injectable Carnitine which increases androgen receptor density so I’m trying to determine if that’s why my total testosterone is lower than usual.

I ran Carnitine for well over a year, believing in that study. It didn't do shit and was a waste of money. You know what increases androgen receptor density? More testosterone.

Did you get any blood work. Theoretically it should increase your free testosterone. I know masteron also reduced shbg so it increases your free test that way. I had a less than stellar blood draw on 250mg/wk of test e and I’m trying to ascertain if it’s because I have higher free testosterone than I normally would. That’s the point of my question.

Your bioavaialibile is ng/dl
My shbg has been plummeting the more I use aas. Dr. Says this is why I get really low totals and very high percentage free test in my bloodwork. He calculated my free test at 17.5% one time, however my totals are always 3× what I inject

Yeah I see the ng/dl now. Isn’t it better to have higher free test than total? Total means very little if a good percentage is bound up with shbg?

Yea but it also means it'll be gone faster. Shbg is like your bodies time release. The bound test eventually becomes free test for the most part. So for me, even with long esters, my blood values are plummeting faster than what would typically be expected. On the flip side I have tons of free hormone post injection.
I believe all aas to some degree or another drive down shbg. Ive heard many times that higher insulin levels do the same.
Ive also heard quite a bit that low shbg is in no way correlated to health. No studies to qoute on that so take what you will.
