I went ahead and capped some over the weekend. But if it gets clumpy can you not grind it up with a mortar and pestle?

No it turns into this very hard weird clay like substance that's almost gooey. Even trying to chop it with a razor blade or use a mortar and pestle, no chance of it becoming a powder

try to freeze the raw and than you might be able to ground it to a powder again (unless its completely oxidized) i had success with this technique
