Ganglion cysts from deadlift

So, I was deadlifting heavy (for me) and the next day I noticed a lump on the inside of my wrist. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this and if so did you keep lifting and did it make it worse?

IDK if the OP has a GC but the history alone is suggestive.

IN BRIEF

Ganglionic cysts usually arise about the palmar (AKA Volar) wrist crease as a relatively PAINLESS several mm “bump”

The course is difficult to predict bc in some folk the cyst remains steady state for years on end, while in others progressive expansion occurs.

The latter can become problematic since the wrist crease
houses a variety of nerves and tendons and ganglionic expansion can compress these structures
with the net effect resulting in ailments such as tendinitis or carpal tunnel syndrome.

Nonetheless expectant management remains the standard in folk with GCs with VERY few exceptions.

And for Goodness sake avoid the temptation some have to stick a needle in it!
