GCMS on orals?

Wondering if there is any value in ordering GCMS for orals? I would want to know if the fillers are as claimed or if they are making AAS on dirty rec drug equipment, etc. I’m not really sure what all is in the NIST library since they told me I would still need to order heavy metals separately from GCMS. @readalot any thoughts on enhanced orals testing?

GCMS is suitable for volatile or semivolatile compounds, which, generally, fillers in orals are not.

Thanks for the response. I didn’t want be obnoxious and start asking your team about individual compounds that may or may not show up. I can’t imagine anyone would cheat me on my baking soda, but who knows if a pill press is running double duty with the club drugs. I think I’ll skip it and just do heavy metals. Thanks again.

Don't feel bad, I'm sure there's a cost for each test, regardless of whether it shows up or not.

I meant in the context of GCMS. Probably cheaper to buy a reagent kit like the rave crowd uses if I want to test for rec drug contaminants. I don’t actually think it’s much of a concern and it’s not something I would try to do regularly, but maybe it’s worth it when a new US vendor pops up without lab pics and accusations of a rebrand.
