gel to shot switch ?

who has done it and what sides did you get , i tried it a month ago im on 2 tubes of testim per day i tried to switch over to 100mg of cyp , so i stoped th testim and took the shot , felt fine for a few days then day four i felt like shit , hot flashes , red face , bloated , and i dont know why , is that normal , the doc said better hold of on shots for now , but i was thinking i needed more time to adjust ?

what do you guys think ?

I think you should have kept running the testosterone injections just like you said. You can't make a conclusion based on that one day without any bloodwork.

I did the switch with no probs. SWALE had me use the gel on the day of my first injection and (if I remember correctly...been a while) also on the day after because the Cyp levels were still rising. This was a 100mg shot...no need to "preload" the dosing when you've been on gel the whole time.

I would have to say the same thing that happened to me happened to you going from 10 grams of Testim to 100 mgs. per shot your levels droped. I had to put up with this for 4 weeks and then my Dr. upped the shots to 150 mgs. this helped a lot but when I got him to add Hcg my levels doubled.
Now I feel the best I ever did on TRT for the last 21 yrs.

I switched primarily due to adverse skin reactions to the gel. The secondary reason was that my T levels actually dropped BELOW my pre TRT levels! That was an issue of not using enough skin area to apply the gel to (I was limited because of the skin reaction)

I think so doing 10 grams of gel and going to 100 mgs. of T shots every week is and was less for me my levels droped. Stay on the 100 mgs. and add Hcg 250 IU's the 2 days before you next shot of T or up the Dose of the T shot.
I am doing 150 mgs. of Depo T.

i dont have hcg and the only one i can get you have to shoot in the muscle and thats to many shots , what if i stayed on the gel to for 2 weeks until shots level out ?

You have to realize that unless you frontload the initial injection, it takes several weeks for your serum testosterone levels to rise to their final levels. The first injection brings you up 50%. When you do the next injection, about half of the first injection is still in your system. So the second injection brings your levels up to 75% of their peak. Next week is ~87.5%, and so on.

I think you need to do the same thing I ended up doing use the gel the day of your 100 mg. shot then stop the gel. keep doing the shots every week for 4 weeks then get a test. If you end up to low like I did up the dose to 150 ms. This is the best way to do it because we all are not the same and the best and safe way is this.

i asked my doc today he said i can do the testim with the shot the whole time , he has alot of guys doing it , but he also gives out 400mg shots a week if you want them so i dont know what to think

The testosterone from the testim is out of your system the next day, so I think that you should do a 200mg frontload injection. Use testim on the same day if you want, but discontinue the testim after that. Then a week later, do a 100mg shot and continue every seven days thereafter. In five weeks or so, get another set of blood tests.

This is a better idea go with the above I did 10 grams of Testim and a 200 mg. shot every other week and if drove my E2 off he scale. You don't need to go though that.

This is what I was told to do and it worked well. Testim in the morning and frontload of 200mg cyp same day. Next day no testim, 1 week later 100mg cyp. I picked up a little more water weight but no hot flashes or other sides.
Currently awaiting lab results to see what my levels are.

He also gives out "400 mg shots a week if you want them"?

Was that meant to say 400 mg shots once a month? It seems to me that 400 mg IM shots once a week would be beyond the TRT environment and into the AAS environment, no? Or am I missing something here?

a week , hes into that shit , he told me to take 200mg every week at miniaml i told him no way ,,weird right !!!
