I got a vial of 45mg tirze and was wondering if people have ever used reconstituted glp-1s past 30days stored in the fridge while have done 4 weeks of dosing already.

Yes. It’s not ideal, but Tirz is relatively stable. Even 60 days is fine.
yeah but even after 4 weeks at one dose a week shouldn't i worry about the multiple punctures maybe causing bacterial growth? Maybe i am overthinking it. ill most likely get 10mg vials and not waste the 45s till i taper up. I appreciate the response

Less time reconstituted is always preferable.

However, the 30 day FDA rule comes from use within environments including doctors offices and hospitals.

In any case, you should always use aseptic technique. Wipe the vial stopper with an alcohol swab and allow to dry before puncturing.

Also, if you’re concerned about bacteria, and you should be, keep in mind a high proportion of peptide vials Jano tests are contaminated with bacteria. It’s because lyophilization isn’t done in fully sterile room like pharma manufacturers. Consider sterile filtering.

With a 22um whatman? Is it different from normal syringe filtering?

Various testing by gray communities as well as compounding pharmacies have shown to be viable for months. The longest, I think, was ProRX’s 300 days in the fridge. It’s fine so long as you use Hospira bacteriostatic water and a 0.2um PES filter. Make sure to do an air flush after filtering to minimize loss.

No idea how to do air flush, but I’ll research it. I haven’t done any filtering before

O ok ty

o ok thanks. I assume you filter after added bac water lul

Yes, filter after reconstitution. Wait 15 minutes after it goes clear before filtering to be sure it’s fully hydrated.

For an air flush, after you’ve pushed all the liquid through the syringe into the (hopefully new) vial, disconnect the 3ml syringe from the filter, pull back to 1ml, reattach, and push residual fluid out of filter.

When the resistance suddenly goes way up, STOP. All the fluid is flushed out and you’re done. If you push hard it’ll go past the “bubble point” of the filter and foam containing damaged protein will come out.

This is Jano tested peptides? Have you got some examples of this? Not personally seen with current suppliers, but have been away from the scene for a while.
