Can anyone recommend a good online souce for buying whey protein and creatine. Good online souce = good price. Also, is there a brand of whey protein that dissolves well in milk? Thanks.

proteinfactory.com I just got 10 pounds the other day. Tastes awesome, mixes easily and it was an incredible price.

I agree. Proteinfactory has great products and prices. A state-of-the-art protein site.

Which protein type best value?

Trueprotein.com looks great, especially the custom page:

custom order

But why choose different proteins? Which is the best value?

Whey Protein Concentrate $ 3.99/lb.
Whey Protein Isolate Ion-exchange $ 8.41/lb.
Whey Protein Isolate microfiltration $ 7.20/lb.
Whey Protein Isolate Cold-Filtration $ 6.49/lb.
Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Concentrate $ 8.95/lb.
Hydrolyzed Whey Protein High Grade $ 9.50/lb.
Hydrolyzed Casein $ 12.95/lb.
Calcium Caseinate $ 5.95/lb.
Micellar Casein $ 10.50/lb.
Milk Protein Isolate $ 5.95/lb.
Egg White Protein $ 9.50/lb.
Whole Egg Protein $ 9.50/lb.
Soy Protein Isolate $ 4.25/lb.

There's also fats available. I've taken flax in the past for my joint, brain and blood but as an oil. Is the power any different or does it give same benefits?:

Flax Powder $ 29.95/lb.
MCT Powder $ 16.95/lb.

Also, what is `Taurine Powder` useful for?

And finally, why choose Glutamine Peptide over L-Glutamine?:

L-Glutamine $ 16.55/lb.
Glutamine Peptides $ 19.55/lb.

::edit::

Apologies, some of the answers are available by clicking on products; it gives more info. Still not sure which protein is best value though.

I also found the Hydrolyzed Whey Protein High Grade protein had the highest Arginine(bad)/Lysine(good) ratio (5.7x). This helps against viruses. While Soy has a negative ratios and Egg/Milk about equal.

I use the Whey Protein Isolate Ion Exchange. Best bang for the buck IMO.

It's unflavored, and I mix it with Crystal Light.

im bumpin that i uses them all the time i love them they messed up one order on me and resent it wit what they left out in the protien so i can make what they first send me taste better(ohh yea they forgot to put inthe sweetner)and u cant beat the prices

I'm actually considering having stuff send from the US by proteinfactory even though the shipping from the US may nearly double the price. Look at the UK online shops; crap:

They don't even tell you the ingredients!
I can't even find Ionic filtered Whey here.

it tastes damn good, and really does seem to work good

hope this helps someone
