Really got them in 2017. I know it ain't shit compared to most here but for a fucked up knee old guy only been lifting 1 year I'm happy;

Back squat 4 reps x 2 sets 3.5 plates.
Bench 3 reps 3 plates
Deadlift 2 reps 4 plates.

None of it seemed totally max really.

Going for 5 plate deadlift 2018.

Went to a strength coach for a one time form check, got a lot of mobility problems apparently in back and shoulders so working on that with a huge rubber band thingy.

Why not just give up the numbers. I have 25 lb plates, 35 and 45s too.

Never heard of half a plate.

Says you've been lifting one year and if I am reading your post correctly your
Benching 3 @ 315, deadlifting 405 for 2
And your deadlifting 315 and you added a plate you cut in half?

:)

I thought 1 plate was a standard measure???

1 plate = 45lbs = 20kg.

That's what's written on them, half plate is half that standard plate.

I'm just heckling ya.

For 1 year those are pretty good numbers.

I am assuming your calling the 25 lb plate the half a plate.

What are your goals?

Original goal was just knee rehab, literally could ot make half depth squat with no weight, kid you not.

Kinda got a huge buzz from the whole lifting shit (now can't cope without it) but never really bothered with a program, 4 plate DL I thought if I can do that I will retire happy. Now I got it goals are;

1. Get a program
2. Get a eating plan
3. 5 plate DL, 4 plate squat, 2 plate OHP (unlikely), maybe 3.5 plate bench or just 3 plate for 6-10 reps.

Recovery is a big issue natty, age etc but fuck it I enjoy it even tho I know I am risking injury gonna take this fucked up knee to oblivion then quit and get a full knee replacement and take up fishing for a hobby or some benign old man shit.
