When it comes to combating insulin resistance which would work better. There are multiple studies and trials stating grape seed extract actually works better than metformin. They'v also done trials & studies on cinnamon but I haven't seen any evidence stating it's more effective than metformin

the easiest way to control blood sugar is to control what you eat.

but maybe you have some links...?

GSE "works better than metformin" in doing what? Improving insulin sensitivity? Reducing blood pressure? Other?

Be specific and cite some studies, please.

Here are some done with lab rats:

Effects of a grapeseed procyanidin extract (GSPE) on insulin resistance. - PubMed - NCBI

Grape seed procyanidins improve β-cell functionality under lipotoxic conditions due to their lipid-lowering effect. - PubMed - NCBI

Grape seed and skin extract prevents high-fat diet-induced brain lipotoxicity in rat. - PubMed - NCBI

Have you found any studies done on humans? I looked at this a while back and was not impressed with the claims for GSE, but I'm willing to look at anything that may change my assessment.
