GSO shelf life?

In the internet it says 3 months, but some people say it will last up to years, could it be that going rancid doesn't affect the hormone and the BA makes it sterile and safe?

when i purchased GSO at the store earlier this year I found a bottle with the middle of next year expiration date that was cold pressed organic. I only brew about 50 ml at a time for my runs when needed. As far as will it last years i would say probably as long as its stored in a cool dark place but if its only 8 dollars a liter I personaly would replace it. I wouldn't chance the oil going rancid and getting a infection from it.

But I know a lot of guys have a pre-made arsenal in there war chest. So hopefully a few will chime in on their thoughts about oil the shelf life of GSO
