Guide for injecting daily with insulin pins?

So I am quite aged and have always done long esters twice a week with, let's say a 23g needle. I've been hearing great things about lower dosed, daily injections. The issue is I have zero experience with insulin or insulin pins. Is there a guide here that explains things like sizes, back filling, etc?

Just take your weekly dose and divide it by 7. That’s your ED dose. Your insulin syringe will be 1mL and has markings for every 0.01 and bigger markings for every 0.1

It’s the exact same process as using normal 3mL syringes. You just have less in each one and they have a lot more lines on them.

Backfilling will save you time but it’s not necessary. Most people I’ve seen do 1-2 weeks of backfill at a time. I’ve never done it for more than a couple days.

I'll soon be stepping into an adjustable insulting pen myself. Preloaded with 3ml of oil at a time using BD 29g x 12mm long for daily injects
