Not what's in the bag, but the bag itself.
Right now I'm using a no name bag with a big center area, and two smaller pockets at the ends, but it's getting crowded.
Here's what's in the bag right now:
So now I need a bag with a shoe compartment - and I also need the bag to have a lot more compartments so I don't have to have everything in one place.
I've looked around for bags, and I think I want one with many external pockets.
Would like to avoid one that has too much mktg bullshit and logos on it - I'm too old for that shit, or maybe I'm "normcore" as it's called these days. Fuck.
Would also like to avoid a really big bag - I move this around in the gym with me - for obvious reasons, I need access to the toolbox. Also good to mark my spot around the squat rack.
What kind of bag would you recommend?
I like this King Kong company and their bags - take a look at this:
‘The Original’ King Kong Bag 3.0 | King Kong Apparel
Although, as I said above, smaller is better so I'm leaning toward this version instead:
Jnr. Kong bag - King Kong Apparel
I don't care too much about price, I'd rather buy a great bag and not have to revisit this purchase ever again, or at least not in the next 10 years.
Edit: Found this video:
I'm starting to almost look for an excuse *not* to buy this bag.... Does anyone know of an even better one - with about the same external dimensions as this bag?

Here's what's in the bag right now:
- Belt - when I do more than 3 or 4 plate squat or DL lifts
- Head harness - only use it once or twice per month - my neck is over 17" anyway
- Cobra grips - awesome, just bought them
- Straps - I'll probably get rid of these now that I got the Cobras
- Padded stubby or fingerless gloves - for weighted dips - dip station has skinny handles
- Wrist wraps - less useful than I thought
- Elbow sleeves - awesome, really gets rid of elbow pain from triceps work
- Hip thrust pad - because the ones at the gym are crushed and shitty
- Bar collars - because the gym uses annoying metal collars that are really futzy
- Magnesium chalk bag - I use this on the sly, with inverted kettlebell work
- Small towel - to wipe my face
- Bandana - when I really get sweaty
- Water bottle
- Wallet, cell phone, car key, gym swipe card
