Has anyone tried using a bulgarian bag?

I've seen videos of this bulgarian bag with this sort of around the world sort of spinning exercise done with the bag.

I was wondering if any one has tried it and had any opinions on that exercise they could share?

What benefit do you think you will get from using such a thing?
Swinging weights around seem to lead to a higher injury rate.
When kettlebells became popular again there was an increase of visits to rehab places from some source i have talked to and read from. Not to say such things may not have benefit, but they need to be used correctly and for a useful reason.

I was actually posting to find out the specific benefits!

It seems like it might target the core in a way that brings that hits areas that might be otherwise missed. Also I do some stretches that are similar that really loosens me up so that was the initial appeal.

That last piece of info is interesting though I'll keep that in mind.

I just do bodybuilding. Not swinging weird shit around while balancing on a bosu ball or whatever.

Nothing against the functional fitness crowd, but I'm there for bodybuilding.
