HCG back pain side effect?

I started HCG around 3 weeks ago and around 2 weeks ago I started to get pain on my back (upper back around scapula). I would to know if HCG has any side effects related to this or if anyone else has experienced this. I have read symptoms of HCG and nothing indicates that this is what is causing it, but I really can't think of anything I have done differently in the past 2 weeks.

My doctor told me that any sore pain experienced when taking hCG was most likely old wounds healing.

I read this some time ago but can't find it. I wonder if the HCG made my GH go up.
