HCG causing itching?

I recently added Dr. prescribed HCG, 300IU 3x/wk to my TRT and noticed that iv started to itch, mainly on my upper body, arms and neck. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with HCG causing them to itch or if not the HCG what else it could be. I dont have any noticeable rashes or hives like you would normally see with some kind of allergic reaction.

laboratory tests showed that only red blood cell count, hematocrit and hemoglobin level increased significantly after treatment, however, these values remained within the normal range.

That shoots down my theory.

Interesting. I have had itching or arms and legs recently of unknown origin. After trying to evaluate what I have done different in the last few months since it started, I was still clueless. Im not a cosmetic type user but I had to start using lotions with minimal help but tanning seem to take care of most of it. After your question it finally came to me. I take 500-750 week of hcg with trt and continue it on blasts. I decided to change my source of hcg to go along with my prescription meds for convenience sake. I have only taken pregnyl and chormion brands in the past. I recently switched to Fertigyn and Sifasi like I said for convenience sake. Im not certain but I m pretty sure the itching started about the time I switched brands. I don't know if its an additive/filler or even if it truly is the hcg causing it. I will be re stocking soon on necessities and will only order chormion ( I hear pregnyl is discontinued???) from here on out and see if it makes a difference. Will follow up to let you know. What brand are you using?

Itchy where? I’m curious cause I have been on test for going on 8 months now and have yet to donate blood.

Chest, stomach and quads were the main spots. It would start as a pretty intense itch that felt like heaven to scratch. It would go away for a few seconds and then come roaring back.

Though i never actually did, i could have literally scratched till i bled sometimes.

i think using Test P on an ED frequency is what raised my hemo too high. i don't go past 250 mg/wk of Test now. Knock on wood, haven't had that problem since.

Yea please do. Im using the generic brand from CVS. It doesnt have a name brand to it but it comes in a green and white box and has the sterilized mixing water with it.

Itchy skin was a sign for me when my hemo got too high. i thought it may be the issue you've encountered, but that doesn't appear to be a side effect.
That got me thinking maybe it was a possibility so I went back and checked my blood work from a few weeks ago and all my numbers were good including my hymo so its probably not that.
