HCG + clomid to get better LH/FSH levels but wants me to stop my trt questions

Hey guys, so I have been on TRT just under a year and have decided I would like to try and have a child with my wife. My urologist said my LH is low low and I’m not really fertile right now which is NOT what I wanted to hear… he is prescribing HCG and clomid and told me to completely stop taking my trt does weekly. It’s making me very nervous because before trt my testosterone was low, I felt exhausted and all around not happy….

Any advice or insight???? A friend who starting Hcg and clomid stayed on his weekly trt does and all his levels returned to normal with the use of Hcg and clomid…. Any and all help is greatly appreciated

HCG is synthetic LH, it synthetically stimulates the balls to produce Testosterone. You’re going to be on a whole bunch of HCG if it’s for fertility purposes. You won’t experience low testosterone symptoms because your natural test will be high because of HCG and Clomid..

If you came off Testosterone and didn’t use the HCG and Clomid then yes you’d feel like shit because your natural production is shut down. But since you’ll be on Clomid + HCG you have nothing to worry about..

I also recommend you order some injectable L-Carnitine and pin 500-1000 MG per day as well, it works wonders when trying to increase fertility.

HCG can be used as monotherapy to treat secondary hypogonadism, and can give you normal T levels. So if you feel good at normal T levels, you should be fine.

If you really want to smooth the transition, take HCG for a month before stopping TRT to get the balls nice and juicy ready for churning out T

What is your current TRT dose and levels?

You could try lowering test to lowest reasonable dose and alternate HCG and HMG EOD. Something like 1000- 2000HCG one day then 75 HMG the next. Might work but varies by person and you won't know if I'm it's working or starting to work for probably 2 or 3 months. Sperm takes (going off memory) something like 90 days to mature so you would need time to "reactivate" your balls and after that time for sperm to mature. If that doesn't work then you have to drop TRT.

If you want this to happen ASAP drop the TRT, do the HCG+HMG high dose. IMO use HMG and forget the clomid. Use Clomid if you don't take HMG though.

Where do you source HMG? Can't find a good source for the life of me, not even where I get my HCG at.

Have u had a sperm check done?? Thats first!

Then you can decide how u want to proceed…

I was on full bore trt and added clomid to the mix… didnt up my 500iu weekly hcg, and wife took clomid… a few kids later and all is alright…

Get ur sperm checked… thats the only way ull know if ur “fertile” blood work shows levels of hormones but doesnt show sperm modalities or sperm count… quit freakin out ull be fine…
