Hello everyone,

I’m not here to push my training—I just want a better quality of life. I’m 18, probably one of the youngest in this group. So why’d I join? I was born with hypospadias (fixed), and I’ve got low testosterone. My chromosomes are normal, so it’s likely tied to that. Last year, tests showed my testosterone at 10 nmol/L—low for my age—with high FSH levels and low estrogen.

Most doctors I saw told me to wait and see what happens, even though a lab doing my bloodwork suggested TRT. I asked two medical students I know, and they said I should take it, maybe with HGH, since local doctors seem too cautious to prescribe it.

It’s been a disappointing experience. One of the students pointed me to Meso info about sources, so that’s why I’m here.

Best I can advise you is to start fresh with a new doctor. Very few will acknowledge their limits. You want someone with a much experience dealing with your condition as possible. and given how rare it is, there won't be many, but someone's out there and within your reach for sure,

This is better path than any info some internet randos can provide on such a rare condition.

Are you in the US? If you DM me your state, I'll give you the contact info for a few specialists I'd see if me (or my son) was dealing with this.

No sources.

Get a legit prescription and no DIY doses.

@RekTest started trt aged 19

Hi,

I can’t comment on your condition, google says it is very rare, but I can tell you regarding TRT at your age you definitely want to go through a doctor at first, a good one will make sure they cross their Ts and check you for alot of stuff, it isn’t just jumping on testosterone. As the wonderful @iris mentioned, get a legit prescription.
You will prolly have to go through a few doctors to get one that will actually help you, I had blood work showing my low T and had to go through 3 doctors for one to actually help me and send me to a sports endo that I still use today.

That was my original plan. However, I’ve now consulted five doctors about this issue. Two of them suggested I might need a supplement and referred me to andrologists. One of the andrologists said he couldn’t help me, while the other simply recommended checking again next year. I’m currently in touch with another doctor, but I’m not feeling very optimistic about it.

Idk where you are and whether you are seeing someone, privately, rather than through your gp.
But, if not, you should do that.
A private clinic will be more responsive.
You are paying them, after all, so they have interest in having you as a patient.
