I want to gain a lot more muscle mass. The promblem is everyone tells me eat eat eat. High protien and cal. low carbs and bla bla. Well my promblem is that I am 19 years old. 6 ft 2 and around 235. I was 290 about a year ago. So I'm thinking that if I eat like this with the metabolic rate my body is going I would more than likely just pack on fat. instead of muscle. What do you all think?
 
Whats your BF% now? Even if you kept the cals down, you'll still need protien to build muscle.
Thats my guess, but Im sure someone with alot more knowledge will be able to answer that better for you.
 
I'm not sure on my bodyfat because I got it from a scale that I purchased at wallmart for 40 bucks. The scale said 18 percent body fat
