I tore my pec shortly after you did, if I'm right you tore yours about 2 years ago?
I posted a pic of my left pec on this board and you gave by far the best diagnosis. I did rupture the MT junction doing flat DB presses with the 180's on my second rep. The bruising went down to my wrist, but not much bruising in my pec area. I didn't have any surgery for a number of reasons, mainly my high ins. deductable.
Today it looks normal when I am just standing relaxed, but as soon as I flex a "most muscular" you can observe a huge collapse between my pec and ant. deltoid.
I do a lot of med. ball push-ups, stability ball work, etc to keep the rotator cuff muscles as strong as possible. I have pretty much eliminated all flat bench work. Amazingly, incline presses pose little trouble, except it looks terrible when the muscle contracts.
I was hoping to do a show until all of this, but unfortunatley not now.
The VPX model, can't think of his name, does give some optimistic outlook as to maybe having some plastic surgery done someday.
Have a Happy Easter!

Lets see, that happened in Aug. 2002 and by December I was finally able to curl the 10lb dumbells. I believe I had a slight bicep rupture, but with all the trauma it was difficult to tell. Those 10lb curls were very good for the ego I might add!
Now I can finally do 80's on incline presses and that's about as high as I like to go. At times I can feel what seems to be the pec minor spasm, that's when I know it's enough!
Take care,
