HgH Protocol and Insomnia

Hi I was searching around and wanted to start a specific discussion on HgH and insomnia. If anybody can relate to this can you post your thoughts or protocol?

I realize this is in directly discussed but I wanted to start a direct discussion if possible. Have you experienced insomnia at any point taking HgH before bed? If so what was a way that you dealt with this? Did you add any supplements? Did you split your dose? I have used DSIP, melatonin, and magnesium Threanate. I have also used the Perfect Amino sleep aid. If anybody any thoughts or suggestions would love to see. I’m thinking it is also related somehow to blood sugar changes as I experienced this with Tirzepetide as well. But with Tirz the magnesium helped a lot. Perhaps with hGH I was considering eating a meal with it? I’m a low dose 2iu. Thanks you.
 
When I first started using HGH, I shot up from 2 to 8iu in just two weeks. 6iu of that was right before bed, and yes; I got some insomnia. What I ended up doing is moving 2iu to mid day for a week until my body acclimated, and now I do 2iu am and 6iu pm without issue.

Awesome. Thanks so much for the encouraging post. That sounds like an interesting approach. I think I may use this to get myself acclimated. I love it but need sleep as well :)

Glad I could help! Timing has always been a major area of debate; but what really matters is that you get it in. I’m not sure what your dosage is, but if you’re running 4, try 2 am and 2pm. If you’re only running 2, try doing it just am for a while and you’ll adjust.

3 weeks on 3 iu first thing in the morning and i'm getting the worst sleep of my life. Theanine and Magnesium threonate, magnesium bisglycinate, and inositol all wake me up. apigenen has helped. so has melatonin and liquid diphenhydramine but i'm not a fan of all the other side effects it has. the "sleep stack" from neuroscientist andrew huberman supposedly helps many though:
Myo-Inositol - 1000mg
Apeginin - 50mg
Theanine - 200-400mg
Magnesium Bisglycinate - 200mg --or-- Magnesium Threonate 300-400mg

I wish you luck. I've got a doctors appointment next week to get back on belsomra with hopes of dropping melatonin and diphenhydramine.

Thank you very much. Yes I’m currently at a total of 2.5iu daily. I been splitting but I think your logic is interesting. If I just do 2-2.5 in the AM for 3-6 days my body just may adjust so that I can just take whenever even sleep. Yes my goal is to get to 4iu. I think you are right in that it just by my body trying to adjust to this new feeling it gets from the hgh. I still love it. I also have noticed people don’t seem to split the really low doses as much. I see 1.5-2iu as the lowest overall dose that I’m seeing others.
 
cannot imagine that 2 IU fucks up your sleep.
You tried to use it am just before your cardio? or pre work out?

I am taking 4 iu in the morning fasted dog run... and 4iu pre work out.

do you struggle with heavy water retention? This might fuck you sleep as well.

I think for some people the insomnia isn’t dose dependent and it just flat out causes sleep fragmentation. For myself, if I take my 3-5iu (depending on cutting or bulking) at bed, or split it with my second dose being too close to bed I will absolutely fuck my night up. I’ll end up sleeping 3-4 hours and waking up totally energized and unable to get back down. It happened to me at 2iu too but I didn’t stay there long. If I get it in early enough doesn’t seem to bother me.

Yes actually, and for whatever reason gh makes it infinitely worse. Perhaps it’s the already present sleep issues that exacerbate things. I do feel like I wake up far more rested on less sleep with gh than the same lack of sleep as without though.

I can say that ipa/mod grf was the single best sleep aid I’ve ever taken in my life. I was hopeful the gh would be even better but it is significantly worse.

Edit: I took my second dose of hgh too late today and it’s totally wrecked my night lol. Up at 4am totally energized.

I'm very curious if mod grf could be taken at night to counteract the insomniatic affects of gh. i use a fitbit to track my sleep and i was averaging 5 hours a night before the gh and 3 hours a night. I have some reading to do!

Gotta time it super careful combining secretagogues with gh. According to Type-IIX it takes 16 hours post gh bolus for there to be enough pituitary secretions of gh to for something like ipamotrlin + mod grf to have impact. I wish it wasn’t such a bitch to combine them as I get such good sleep on ipa and such good health impact on gh.

Ok so I can say that one thing I tested the other day was taking gh early in the AM and then just for the hell of it…I took Tesamorelin at night. So right after I pinned Tesa…about 5 mins later I jumped into bed. All of the sudden the strangest thing happened. My body got really hot…and I was itching…and it felt like I had a fever. It was pretty horrible…I cranked up my fan and was reading and then after about 15 minutes it went away. Then I passed out and had a great night of sleep. But holy shit that was scary lol
I slept 6 amazing hours. However, I will never take Tesamorlin again no matter how early I take hgh that day.

So I just about what happened when I used Tesamorelin for this. I did try Sermorelin one night week ago it did not have much effect on me personally (when I’m not on HGh Sermorelin knocks me out like a baby). Tesa I will never attempt again while on hgh

So one small remedy I have used after posting this thaf has helped a little is eating. I was reading so much about the blood sugar impact…that I figured let me try to eat after and then go to bed. Then if I wake up to have some protein. This did help me personally. However, after Monday with going back to work I’m going to jsut do 2iu in the am.

I also take Tirzepetide so the are both possibly just lowering my blood sugar too much…or perhaps something of the sort
