Hi! I'm a young, female biohacker seeking friends who understand hormones and peptides. I would love to have "fitness goals" yet, at this moment, I just want to be able to function and heal some old injuries.

My entry into biohacking came after years of studying alternative health enhancers for animals who didn't thrive with conventional vet care. The pets I worked on often had tremendous breakthroughs. Now, it's my turn. I deserve to feel healthy. I hope you'll allow me to participate in your community and learn from the magnificent beasts in this forum =)

Thanks for having me!

PS Interested in learning more about and have some experience with research projects involving HGH, melanotan, nootropics. I would like to know more about affordable testing options for such products (those sold in an unregulated manner for research). Thanks again.

Welcome to meso!
It's incredible the amount of compounds/peptides that have been developed that could revolutionize medicine but doctors are unwilling to accept it or its outright blocked by big pharmaceutical companies so they can continue to "treat" rather than cure.

PPS I was diagnosed with Low T. recent reads state boron/zinc may help. I have a nauseous reaction to even tiny doses of oral zinc supplements. Boron may be ok for me but m yjoints ache more when I first start taking it. I would try a cream but I think that is something i can only do safely if I'm getting regular labs from my doctor. Is that correct?

Tongkat Ali has alot of buzz around it right now for increasing testosterone levels. andrew huberman would be someone to watch videos on it.
Never tried it myself as I'm on trt so no need.

When your new to the subject it's always best to go through a doctor but most GP's dosing protocols are from the 60s and would probably be worse for a female. Trt clinics although expensive would be a good route to get knowledge/comfortable with taking hormones.

Welcome. Interesting to hear you’ve got a background in research. That first-hand experience could bring some interesting stuff forward.

I had some real success healing old injuries using TB-500. Originally I took it to help heal a lingering shoulder injury. In the meantime I also saw the complete reversal of tendinopathy that I had dealt with for 7 years.

There's a naturopathic HRT specialist near me. I will see her and see how it goes. Thanks!

What is the problem you are trying to fix?

That is great to hear (read)! I haven't tried TB-500 yet. I'm still a little dubious of all unregulated peptide suppliers.

For injuries, nerve pain, and bursitis, HGH was a godsend. If TB-500 might perform as well, I will try it.

I have some pets considered "super senior". This is what vets are calling pets who live beyond the typical life expectancy. They could use more muscle mass and stronger ligaments/tendons. I will see if I can find a vet to approve a trial with TB-500. If you have any suggestions on how to find vets using these healing peptides, I would love the help. thank you!

Hi Jin23.
My most pressing issue is that my working memory isn't good. If I take gh,i can remember what i walked into rooms for and i can retain small bits of information for tasks like basic accounting. as it is I have to copy and paste numbers becausei cant remember them to add to a spreadsheet, even if they are only 3 digits long. I also have parkinson's like symptoms and chronic migraine I had taken low-dose gh (approx .6iu) in the past which helped a lot with bursitis and tendon pain but the latter 2 issues were not helped. on approx 2ius daily parkinsons like symptoms and migraine resolved.

Tb500 was originally studied on dogs and horses.

Not quite sure how GH can help with parkinson's. Is there some official mechanism of action?

GH can cause a lot of issues due to central insulin resistance. Then your working memory will be fucked. You do not want mitochodnrial disfunction. I had it because of an undiagnosed iron overload syndrome (coupled with GH use) and trust me, that is not somewhere you want to go. It's dementia and adhd put together.

How does your blood panel look like? Transferin saturation, b9 and 12, CBC, etc ...

Dopamine modulates working memory, but if you have a case of hypofrontality, then look into addressing inflammation and blood brain flow. Cerebrolysine is one of the best options for this.

Thank you for your insight

I jumped backinto peptides again after hearing about cerebrolysin for dementia. It was the first peptide I ordered. It arrives soon =) I also bought the brain peptide made from bovine source.

CYP21A2 variants- I have 2. I believe one of them is behind parkinsons-like issues.

I don't think there is an official known mechanism of action of hgh on parkinson's. I think any reduction in inflammation and/or stress is going to help general wellness. young people rarely get parkinson's- its possible gh is protective.

the elimination of fat (and it's stored toxins) might be another reason GH helps

Have you read that parkinson's and chronic lyme have the same etiology? According to some, what seems to work for Lyme seems to also work for parkinson's. I don't know that anyone has given dopamine to lyme patients to see if it works the other way around. I would like to see the results of such an experiment.

In case you aren't aware, LDN can be a game changer for parkinson's symptoms.

Hi! Also a young female with similar interests. I would love to connect. I can not figure out how to message you though since I am new to this forum lmao

No, but that's interesting. Care to share some studies, proposed MOA?
I doubt there are any formal studies. As for MOA, it's the same for all conditions, AFAIK.
Endorphins -> Feel-Good -> Heal vs
Low-Endorphins -> No-Feel-Good = Stress = Disease (literally)

If I was on hgh, I might be able to elaborate.

Hi! I'm a young, female biohacker
Same here! I also am on a mission for my health. I’ve been learning about genetics extremely in-depth. I’m about to start injecting adenosylcobalamin. There are a few studies on this helping Parkinson’s as well as MS. Which my symptoms are similar too. I feel like we are going at similar problems from different directions.
At the start of the year I modified my diet and that has helped me and my working memory a bit.
