High Altitude Dweller

Hi,

Mid-40s. Been lifting consistently for the past year and down about 20 lbs. Currently on TRT through a clinic (160 mg/week split into 3 shots).

I live at high altitude and have always run higher RBC / hemoglobin / hematocrit — even before TRT. Since starting, those numbers are higher but still considered “normal” for this area. My primary doctor isn’t concerned and says it’s common where we live.

I’m trying to think long-term and make sure I’m not overlooking anything.
I keep an eye on:
– HCT / HGB trends
– Estradiol
– SHBG
– Lipids (were high before I started training; last labs were back in range)
– Creatinine
– Overall TRT markers
Appreciate the info on this board. I’ve already learned a lot just reading through threads.
